Great video! I can confirm that this chair is one of the best in the gaming industry and is money worth. I’m 15yrs old at 66kg and around 5’10 (178cm). Chair fits perfectly and also has options to make it comfier due to lumbar support. The material can be stained when something is spilled, but is quite easily cleanable.

Have been using this chair for a while, pretty awesome, just beware, it has like an....angle, the back is not straight and if you remove the lumbar support, after long gaming periods you tend to slouch

I own this chair, got it after a lower spinal fusion.
This is a fair review, only minor thing is when you put the lower pillow in it was upside down.
Also, the top part of the armrest is plastic and has a slight jiggle, this is true. But the base and riser shaft for the armrest is metal construction. The base also has a tilt knob if you like the base of the seat on an angle.
Im 180cm tall and weigh 65Kg.

Personally arm rests are the biggest thing for me, since I am constantly leaning on them. I feel like gaming chairs all have the same tiny little arm rests.
Yep, I bought an expensive designer office chair with screwed-on arm rests because of this. I have a very high tolerance for the position of the arm rests but low tolerance for movement. Needless to say, the screws kept getting loose and no amount of locktight could fix that...and then the feaux leather started falling apart 🙄

How long does it last
I'm getting this as a Christmas present but the only thing that worries me is the seat back getting a torsion in it.
I had a cheaper chair with the recline function and after a few days of using it the back had twisted and it eventually snapped because the mechanism to stop it only stops it on the side with the lever and the other side has a tiny amount of play that eventually leads to the twist.
I don't know if you still use it but I would love to know if anything like that happened to it after this review was made.

I have this chair, bought it 3 days ago. This chair is the most comfortable out of all the chairs in demo room of my local computer store. I have tried $1000+ chairs before and this chair won it for me. I don't work for Corsair, I just want to share my experience. Thank God I didn't waste $1700 AUD on those expensive chairs when I can get one that's only $399 and as comfortable as those $1000+ chairs. This chair is really good for the price. Though the quality control is not good

@@Sanikirang So do you like it? It's very important that you try it first before buying because not everyone will have the same opinion. I had my friend tried a $1500+ chair that I like but my friend does not like it as much as I do so everyone has different feel and opinion.
@Marshall Yes I'm happy but neckrest can get annoying sometimes for me as it must be place on the right spot on your neck. As you recline more, the more the neckrest pillow will place up going from neck to head and you will have to move the headrest back down to your neck. And lumbar pillow is the best but it doesn't stay put. If you recline chair to sit up straight and you leave the chair the lumbar pillow will fall down to the bottom everytime. Only fix is to add hook and loop velcro.
Henry can you sit straight in it like your back is straight up with your neck when you recline the seat forward to a 90 degree right angle
@@christopherbeltran5020 yes you can. It feels very supportive to me. That's what really surprised me when I first sat straight up on it. I was glad it wasn't uncomfortable when I sit 90 degrees. Supports the back and neck really well at 90 degrees.

Bought it, this thing is giving me back pains not gonna lie
Tried getting one of these for my birthday, shame it was at the end of april and they ran out of stock as people had been working from home whilst on lock down and wanted a new chair. Soon as they are back in stock im ordering a Charcoal one. One thing i would add, if you have hard floor under your setup id look at buying a set of Corsair T1 Rush wheels they are made of rubber (the same as inline skates) and they sound and feel so much nicer underneath you they're £35 not sure what that would be in $

The neck pillow is really worth it? Cause i saw you in the video and other youtuber nobody rest their head over the pillow while they're working or playing on it. And beacuse you are around 1.80 meters tall is there a way to put the neck pillow inside the back holes instead of out of it cause i think eventually it will pop out the chair?
Would you get this or spend a bit more for the secret lab omega with softweave? In other words which is the most comfortable and durable?

Great video! You did a really good job reviewing it! Disclaimer though, bucket seats are more likely to give you lower back pain over time. I use a Dx racer and I drive an AMG with bucket seats so I have been using bucket seats exclusively for 5years now every single day and I have bad lower back issues because of it. The lordotic back cushion dosent help with the lower back pain

If your short the chair won't be the best for you. You'll have to schoot far back to get ur neck on the pillow and not ur head but depending on how ur chair is leandled back the bottem of the top part will dig into you a bit but it's not bad

@@omerisol its not particularly soft or hard I think. The lumbar back pillow is really nice too and I use it all the time. I lean in towards the screen a lot when my game gets intense so I adjust the chair to that and the pillow really helps with the lower back pains from the adrenaline 😂

@@omerisol its a pretty firm back in my opinion. Its pretty sweet and I even contemplated not using the back pillow but didn't want it laying around so I just use it

Comprei uma cadeira desse modelo aqui no brasil. Fiquei decepcionado, além do alto valor no Brasil, ela é desconfortável, cadeira muito dura. e a almofada da lombar não tem como ajustar a altura.

This yellow and black beauty has been the best designed chair, loved it, except... all the thin plastic covering starts to peel after a few years and it sheds everywhere and ends up looking like shit. That one appears to have more fabric, not sure about the black areas, though. Wouldn't want a different design, this is the only one that keeps my butt from sliding off, but the plastic covering is a disappointment.
