Absolutely LOVE the German pieces! I lived in Kitzingen from 1996-1998. :) I remember putting wooden clogs outside of our apartment and we also had a German Pyramid!
I think painting the living room white would be gorgeous! And would definitely brighten up the space. Can’t wait to see what you do. But love the home tour! You’ve inspired me to bring in more bells into my space- they’re so timeless and reminiscent of a yesteryear.

I have wonderful memories of Frankenmuth & the Bavarian Inn. How fortunate you are to be able to visit there!
It's such a great place - Love the Bavarian Inn, we used to stay there when my brothers and I were kids and my parents would take us up there. We'd always eat at Zhenders too. Yes I am very lucky my mom tookme as a Christmas present! I also have a dear friend who lives in Frankenmuth too!

So classy and elegant and original, I like to incorporate nostalgic items in my decor also, like my mom's angel garland, her gold bells, and oranges and nuts 🥜. We also always had ribbon candy that my mom used to like to have in our decor and I can't find it this year. I also believe in the cardinals of loved ones and always have cardinals in my Christmas decor. Memories from Christmas' past.

Omg. It’s June 2022 and this video popped into my recommended. And can I just say? Holy moly this decor is perhaps my favorite of any Christmas decor(and decor “taste”)ever! There is something about how you use color and space…how you see what each area needs but not overdo it. Honestly, yes, you have a smaller place than what I’m used to seeing BUT I’d rather have your taste and your vision any day of any week! I subscribed and can’t wait to see what else you do! You have a real gift and after seeing hundreds of videos like this, yours is a stand-out! Absolutely stunning.

It’s traditional and classic but also very elegant and I love how you mixed the deep burgandy/plum shades with natural tones and brass and gold and I would have never have thought to put brown touch’s like brown velvet and brown Ornaments. @@harvestandholly I have a small Santa smoker that was my dad's, given to him by a good friend who worked for Lutfhansa and would bring him back presents every time he flew to Germany. I have a cuckoo clock made in the Black Forest that we purchased on our honeymoon along with German bride and groom ornaments. These are my most special items. I asked my husband to gift me a smoker or nutcracker made in Germany as birthday or Christmas gifts going forward. I'm going to miss your videos and I'm so sad it's almost Christmas and the wonderful fall/holiday season is over. I despise summer and I'm already depressed it's on it's way. @@connkinn5645 Oh I love that about the cuckoo clock! If you're ever in michigan you must visit the german clock shop there, you'd love it. Don't worry though, I'm not going anywhere lol I plan to make cozy videos all year, even if theres some time in between each video. I saw those white pumpkin dupes at Walmart, wanted to grab one so bad but couldn’t justify it since RV living is very tight, space and weight wise. In fact I’ve thrifted a few pieces (wardrobe) things and my husband says “what will you be removing” I said nothing 😬. Your home is so lovely, love your trees & the Cardinals are just so special.

Another pretty tour! I always love your trees and the decor you choose. I love vintage items and unique decor. I like newer things as well when they are mixed in. I love the things you found from joanns. One of my favorite stores. Where did you find the burgundy and brown balls on the tree and in the bowl? Such pretty colors.

It’s just SOOOO PRETTTY!!! I love the greenery! And the muted colors on the tree are so rich and so warm! I definitely like it better there where you can take in the full height of the tree. All your little touches from the German smokers to the oranges with cloves in them…just love it all! I was wondering where your got the star garland because it is gorgeous mixed in with the bells. Thanks so much Carol. I bought the bell garlands on clearance a couple years back from Michaels, but I have purchased loose bells off amazon as well and made garlands or embellishments (for the stockings) out of those. I think Hobby Lobby has some bell garland too.
