We definitely need to bring this man back whatever means necessary
I really hope we can keep him. He was such a major piece this season especially after Mitch was injured but not only would he lose money if he resigns but Oklahoma is close to his girlfriends home state Texas so she probably has a lot of family there and since they’ve just had a baby family wouldn’t be too far in Oklahoma. Manifesting ihart comes back tho 🙏
Let's restructure some contracts and keep him he is a key player for us I'm sure some players are willing especially OG he got alot of money
Bro your comment clearly shows u don't have a clue how NBA contracts work. This is not football, u can't just restructure an NBA contract SMH
NBA doesn’t allow such restructuring for cap space room, that defeats the purpose of a cap. Only way to restructure is if it’s a 4 year or longer contract, in the 3rd year, and it would be increasing salary, not decreasing to come under the cap.
He’s going to not be as good in okc if he goes
The knicks system is made for him
Yup he's gonne disappear
Thibs system is made for all centers just like Mike Dantoni’s system help PG’s. That why Jeremy Lin disappeared when he left the Knicks.
So even if I-Hart leaves the Knicks will be ok. However he is the best center on the market right now. So the ideal scenario is he resigns.
@@Barak144 I concur but I didn’t say the knicks wouldn’t be good without Ihart more like he won’t be as good without us
Well said
He would also be not as wealthy, by staying. Knicks can’t afford to match without going into tax.
All the more reason they should've drafted Flipor another potential backup center. Getting Bridges but losing I-Hart is not a great trade-off.
Knicks should trade for Hornets backup center Nick Richards✌️Peace to Hartenstein no need to overpay
Exactly
Nick Richards is a free agent. They don't need to trade him. There's plenty of younger centers that won't need a lot of money to pay. Jalen Smith, Moritz Wagner, Wiseman from Pistons. Gotaze, there's couple out there.
We didnt know how good iheart was until he got valuable minutes! Perhaps theres another player with a similar skill that just needs the oppportunity....look at the kid Utah just waived. Utseven or close to that. When he got 25min he averaged 11.4 boards and 11.4 boards!!
@@Melbester9Smith signed with the Bulls, better move quick.
@WarrenPuffet I saw. They need to sign Moritz Wagner or Goga Bitdaze. A lot of centers in free agency got signed. Drummond and Valuiecinas were on their radar and both got signed too.
Hardly any centers available in free agency now.
Kids gotta do something about that hair good lord
I dont understand whats the point of having early bird rights if teams can offer more money and longer term? Isn’t that the whole point of owning bird rights the ability to offer the players more than other teams
No... The point of Bird rights is so that a current team can have the ability to match what another team is offering. The Knicks can match what OKC is offering, but it"ll take us over the salary cap
Don’t think you realize they can match any deal….NYK couldn’t afford him which is why they wouldn’t offer him more.
Give him the 72 mil and then all New Yorkers can do a go fund me to make up the extra 28 mil 😂
Ian bagley knows nothing he just repeats what's outhere.
This is what I been saying. Is he even an insider?
Yeah that's kind of true....Ian gets news at the same time we do...LoL...he has no inside info.
Ian Begley -- stating what everyone already knew like he has inside information. Tool.
