Three Techniques to Catch Redfish in the Biloxi Marsh

I started out this trip sight fishing reds in a large cove. I was able to catch my personal best, a 44" redfish, sight fishing. After that bite slowed down I made a move and began to fish the shorelines of some broken marsh. The #wedgetail spinnerbait combo yielded a few golden slot reds. I finished off the trip fishing a drainage with a #Vudu shrimp under a #Versamaxx Pro Bolt cork. To my surprise, the drainage was holding both speckled trout and redfish.

Nice video. I’m from Louisiana. Last year we stayed on Biloxi river and ventured out into the bay and tried a few spots. Apparently Tye fishing wasn’t too great while we were there. We landed 5 Flounder around Goat island. Thinking of dragging the boy down there again next month with the family. Can you recommend and spots? We will be staying on the river again.
