MODUSHAxTRIAL BRZ - 90's POS(T)ER CAR EDITION

Trial Tuning Spirit was an accomplished tuning company in 90's Japan, and though they've taken a bit of a back seat on the international stage in the current era, they still make parts, tune cars, and generally go fast in the land of the rising sun, where they currently brand themselves as TRIAL. They offer a body kit for the first generation Toyota GT86/Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ platform that is positively dripping with 90's retro aesthetic. Coupled with a full set of 18 inch TRIAL TRYFORCE ZELDA wheels, manufactured by Rays as Vesta for Trial Tuning Spirit cars in their heyday, this modern day take on an by gone era is an attempt to show what might have been had the 86 platform existed in 1997.
Modusha has taken key elements of the TRIAL body kit and driven it further into the 90's with the adaptation of a MK.4 Toyota Supra spoiler to the car, a project that took way too long. The entire process of how it was built in a home garage by a total novice is available as an hour-long feature on the channel. Additional touches include INTEC rear tail lights, OLM spats, diffuser, and 3rd brake light.

Subaru/Toyota should have designed these cars with that spoiler set-up. Really makes the car look better.

Yes, I shaved the stock seven star badge and replaced it with 02-05 Impreza lettering. It was something I thought would both be retro and futuristic when I thought of it in 2018 or so. And look at OEMs now, even Lexus is spelling their name out on the back of cars. Fashion is a cycle!
