Character is now the only real check on presidential power. Plus, if push comes to shove, what are the basic rules that govern a change at the top of the ticket? Ben Wittes and Steven Shepard join Tim Miller.

The first step in a fascist movement is the combination under an energetic leader of a number of men who possess more than the average share of leisure, brutality, and stupidity. The next step is to fascinate fools and muzzle the intelligent, by emotional excitement on the one hand and terrorism on the other.
This technique is as old as the hills; it was practiced in almost every Greek city, and the moderns have only enlarged its scale.

He is 3 years older than Trump, slower walking, no doubt in better shape as far as no being over weight and pooping on himself in public as Trump does. Trump swore Biden would be drugged up during the debate yet, it has been reported that Trump was on his Adderall for his ADHD which allowed him to remain focused as he spewed all of his lies instead of flinging around, sniffing and losing his thought as usual when he acts like a bullying clown. Biden had a bad debate. I believe some of those 5 days strategizing should have been used sleeping and resting up prior to the debate. Biden nor anyone knew the debate would be free of any fact checking. Biden's strategizing I believe should have been on his record and a little deflecting of Trump's lies. A man from the Apprentice also stated on the day after the debate that he witnessed Trump using Adderall twice on the Apprentice. Both of these Adderall usage reports explains why Trump continually shadowed his behavior stating that Biden would be drugged up.

Let's get this man in office again and then see what happens.

We cannot let these Maggots win, they do not deserve it.
We must put our power behind the Biden / Harris campaign, and if things happen afterwards and Harris becomes President because Biden steps aside then so be it.

If there isn't a mechanism to deal with that then one needs to be established. If precedence aren't sacred anymore, then all the damaging decisions the Roberts court has made should be overturned as soon as the judges are there to do so. What a GREAT point Ben makes: immunity is NOT innocence. This may seem obvious, but if the media don't communicate that to the public, many voters will think that the Supreme Court found him NOT GUILTY of these crimes. Unfortunately, I fear that our media is oblivious of this point or the need to make the public aware of it.

Or better yet, let Trump play Richard the Third--yes Trump really has the character of Richard, born with a full set of teeth, biting even his mother with his first lying evil greedy breath. Shakespeare surely did know evil Yea Shakespeare! I'd forgotten how much I used to love him Thanks!

Zero dollars. Merchan has, from the beginning, performed as an honorable and capable judge. He will now study and weigh the USSC's poorly crafted ruling in an honorable and capable way in terms of how it affects the case of a man who was not yet president during most of the crimes for which he was convicted. And for those one or two convictions that involve a sitting president signing two personal checks in the White House and having a conversation with a non-White House staffer about committing fraud, Merchan will rule on whether he believes those actions to have been official or unofficial. Then he will sentence Trump. And Trump will appeal, three times if the first two courts rule against him, and reach the U.S. Supreme Court.

At least half the Democrats have grave concerns about Biden's health. Denying this is sticking your head in the sand. Attacking Tim Miller won't make it go away.
