YOOOO... my eyeballs were buggin outta my head watching that trailer, for one it's JUST SO PRETTY, the animation just gets better and better, but also, you summed it up perfectly with your like 5 INTERESTIIINNGs 😛 I'm slightly hesitant with the Barriss stuff but it's def intriguing....

That's actually a really great idea for Baylan Skoll. Hopefully we'll see an episode with him one of these days! In the meantime, giving Morgan Elsbeth more of a backstory was a good idea given that her involvement and intentions in the Mandalorian and Ashoka isn't quite fleshed out very well (I thought). Looking forward to the release of this on the 4th and what takes place with these characters, looks like it'll be a good one!

I'm glad I read that first Thrawn book man and seeing Bariss Offee's story continue I'm here for it, despite how Disney have been the cgi stuff has been good.

@@crystalkyber same I was shook as well to see him because thrawn is really great character in my opinion, but I am also more excited to see more barris ofey because if there’s one character who deserves a ending to her story it would be her, and honestly having her return is going to be super interesting and amazing in my opinion.
more Thrawn will always be a good thing!! I KNOW i hope we get a redemption for Bariss tbh! Im sad for her.

The Inquisition partially arose from the inspiration of Barriss's speech, so it's clearly going to be her reckoning with the past. I find it hard to believe that Barriss will remain an Inquisitor for long, maybe around a year.
(In Rebels, the best move would have been to send Barriss after Ahsoka. The fact that they didn't do that suggests something happened, and Barriss is unavailable for some reason.)
The only thing she has left is something the Inquisition won't easily take away from her, and that's her morality. Her morality makes her character not a villain but a very gray and complex character (meybe anti-hero). Barriss is selfless and the most important thing to her is the lives of others, she was even willing to sacrifice her own life for others.. She will hate herself for what she'll have to do, and she'll certainly feel powerless. She can't fight this; she has to accept the past and realities and leave, betray the Empire.
Another scenario is her death.
Edit: Barriss has books for example Medstar. These are legends but they fit her character very well

Barriss' book was Medstar, but that is now legends. However, parts of it have been soft re-canonized in other materials. This is the first post Wrong Jedi, info on her. Though I am expecting a cliffhanger aperance at the end ep15 of Bad Batch.

wow did it really? That is super special. And i agree, she was so under utilized in live action. She was hands down the best fighter in Ahsoka, i mean shes a legit martial artist. and legit the goddaughter of a ledgend. I wanted more from her for sure.

Disappointed they went with the EKJ idea for Barriss, instead of giving her a decent redemption arc.
They could have gone back to the old EU Barriss novels, the Medstar stories and her as a Jedi healer.
I know!! Im hoping theres a switch up and she gets redeemed. Because this doesnt really seem like her path, and she was kinda forced into this position
@@crystalkyber they reformed the Asajj/woman in a fridge plot device in DD, so maybe there’s hope? I’d be happy with an arc where she abandons the galaxy for some backwater and her living her life out as a local village healer (‘it aint much, but its honest work’ etc). Or Asajj, Ahsoka, Barriss running a home for Force sensitive foundlings.
