@@tyrjohanson5658Yeah it’s still bull though. That lunatic’s mother bought him the weapon full well knowing he was crazy. She should have went to jail that’s a straw purchase and he killed a bunch of people. Also, it’s kind of ironic that this song is kind of talking crap about cops, but then a real tough cop came in and finish that lunatic off and probably saved more lives. The cop resigned afterwards and I can’t blame him.
No one could touch Pantera back in the day. Dime was the shit. Vinnie holding it down , Rex funky bass grooves, and despite some misfortunes in his career back in his Heyday Phil Anselmo was arguably the best metal singer of his time.
I've been watching THE CROW since i was 10 years old, and I recently became a PANTERA fan. What a badass song. It should've been on their greatest hits album.
If you only have greatest hits go get Cowboys, Vulgar, driven and Trendkill. You might already know them as they were big at one point, but check out DOWN if you havent. Kinda southern sludge, really sick.
Love that they covered this song. Phil and Dime are perfect for covering Jerry and Pig, Poison Idea are one of my favorite bands…oh yeah this movie is good too 😎
this movie is awesome, of course, not for everyone, that's why this is called a CULT MOVIE, but in my personal opinion, this movie has the best soundtrack ever, the movie and the music are very well matched
Indeed......I met Dime a few times and he was the chillest dude you could ever meet. He's buried 50 yards or so from my grandparents so I always stop by and visit while I'm there. See what people left for him that week. Joints, bottles of Jack, 100000 guitar picks......they go all out around Christmas too. Every year around the holidays his and Vinnie's gravesite is decorated better than my house. Multiple Christmas trees fully decorated, stockings, the spirit of Christmas wrapped up all around their epitaph's. Truly a very loving family. I always feel sorry for their Dad. He's lost his wife who passed before she could see how both her children would grow up and go on to do big things with their life. A father who loses a wife and survives both his sons, a pair of truly talented brothers......idols really. I know Dimebag was an idol to many and rightly so. There's not 1 musician who was as good as him yet never got a big head. His success never changed him. That says alot about who he was as a person and the world looks a little less bright without him in it
It's ironic how Pantera & The Crow, BOTH will FOREVER be a part of my soul...Pantera had been my FAVORITE band since I heard This Love is `92 & then this became my FAVORITE movie the FIRST time EVER watching it. One of My favorite metal bands covering one of My favorite punk bands songs off what is arguably their best album that’s featured on the soundtrack of a film I really really enjoy! Too cool. RIP roll call Pig Slayer Dime Vin Brandon
The lyrics are about -- honor vs dishonor -- truth vs corruption -- justice vs injustice. This crazy movie inspired Heath Ledger's Joker character too, from one angle. Makes me think of 70's cop flicks -- Good Cop vs Bad Cop. Great hardcore punk cover. 🤔
This is not a fake. Any Pantera fan will tell you. Theres no way thats not Phil, Dime, Vinny and Rex. Its a cover. Not their work thats why it sounds so different.
This song was actually written, and recorded by a band called Poison Idea...years ago..Poiison Idea is a punk band from Portland Oregon ...for some reason Pantera would not talk about it. They even used the movie bit from taxi driver..confrontation between Harvey Kietel and Robert Deniro.
Great song and sublime picture show, catch the essence of the film in 4 minutes adapted to pantera s song and message. My good sir, congratulations! good work!
This film came out in 1994. Most characters are now based on this film due to its legendary status. Watch the Crow. The full film is on CZcams. You won't be sorry. Its an amazing film.
@@australiawillbetheaidscapi3128 the junkie who shot Brandon Lee dead accidentally that was the scene where he died there wasn't even supposed to be a gun in the scene not when he shot him in the hand but when he shot him in the chest when he kills them
Where was Darkness in this movie? I saw it but I never actually heard the song. This song was in the background when the store owner got stabbed in the throat but I never heard Darkness. Either way great movie and song!
Such a very sad tragedy that brandon lee & dimebag darrell both died doing what they loved.
RIP to both of the amazing talented people!
On the other hand, Dime was passionate. At least he 🔫 doing what he loved. Can any of us ask for more!?

I concur. Ozzy's voice beat everyone. Phil is a close second. But in his own way. Fukkin Eh.
Phil is still killin it
Best Frontman ever, period hand's down.
You will never have a dull moment with Phil up front. Best ensembled band in groove heavy metal [.]
Best ever
I've been watching THE CROW since i was 10 years old, and I recently became a PANTERA fan. What a badass song. It should've been on their greatest hits album.
I can understand why it's not. It being a one-off cover for a movie soundtrack. Still, love both the Poison Idea original and this version.
If you only have greatest hits go get Cowboys, Vulgar, driven and Trendkill. You might already know them as they were big at one point, but check out DOWN if you havent. Kinda southern sludge, really sick.
I just noticed your comment is from
Close to a decade ago. I wrote it thinking you just got into Pantera
😂😜
I think bands usually leave cover songs off of greatest hits albums, since they didn't write it.
I know how that goes
RIP Dime, Vinnie and Brandon
Rest in paradise Brandon and dimebag! Tell bruce we say hi !
Don't forget Pig Champion.
stimuncy suck on this....
Vinnie too man, shit bro..

Dave Campino yes, this movie is a classic cult movie. For me. ....... this movie is a oscar ✌🎭
Yeah, great soundtrak dude, NIN RATM the cure STP And others
Second best soundtrack. Tales From the Crypt:Demon Knight is the BEST
Your opinion is objectively correct. This movie’s soundtrack, from Pantera to STP, is the best. Objectively.
Two things: One: This cover is vicious. Two: I had to watch Taxi Driver again.
PANTERA RULES!!!!! R.I.P. DIMEBAG :(
