Many people complained about LS 1, but i have to say: boy was it a joy to be part of it. Never ever has GW2 had a better community than at these times, events all around the game, groups everywhere, everyone fighting for one goal. Living Story 1 and Scarlet have been the best thing in GW2 history!
This was already great at the time, but coming back after End of Dragons and the beginning of re-releasing season 1, it really hits different. Boy, what a wild ride it's been over these ten years.
Great job! The song you chose is very relevant and the video is well synced to the music. Gave me some chills! It's a great way to remember Scarlet and all she did :)

on an off note, i must say that scarlet briar is probably one of my favourite villains of all time.
i loved-hated her. she was extremely dark, twisted and insane, but we didnt get to know her much. season 2 is changing that.

I loved how it was, it left so much open for interpretation which is good for an mmo in my opinion. It gets not only the NPCs thinking but also the heroes

I think it's the most unique moment of all the game, I won't forget. I would love them to do that unique event before the next expansion

Still incredible to this day
watching this now all this time later, after having played GW2 when these events were live (still playing now). This is a perfect nostalgia trip, the song the video.. brings back the memories.
They have GOT to find a way to re-implement season 1.

Scarlet and her mischief was so much more interesting than endless dragon hunting.
Not really, i remember me and my guild complaining about Scarlet. In season 1 it was like: "The enemies are the Elder Dragons right? Why are we fighting this one sylvari?". Until she destroyed Lion's Arch. That was really cool.
I rewatch this occasionally and I love it every time.
I hated scarlet at first, but now i kind of miss her D:

Wonderful video. I do miss Scarlet and, despite all the destruction she caused, feel she should be immortalised. She was powerless to her own curiosity and genius, which is ultimately what drove her to insanity.

Old time GW2 player who has able to experience the Scarlett War in the game - this is a really amazing video of it! Thank you for making and posting it.
A real shame new players can't go through the Scarlett War, but that's the problem with one-time events in MMOs - they're great if you happen to playing at the time but a loss for any players who join the game later.
