- ✨Here’s a little about me:
👉 I have been on this journey for several years. Although it took me a year to start realizing this was beyond my scope of care. I always hated Doctors, hospitals, & meds. When I finally sought help it took too long to get proper treatments and I went into a huge unforgiving flare that lasted at least two years.
🌟My formal diagnosis is Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) w an overlay of Lupus. I also have the cormorbidies like PoTs, IBS, Fibro, Anxiety, and suspected MCAS (Phew, that was a mouthful).
To sum me up: ✨
🧿 I am cautiously optimistic, refusing to give in, but realistic in my approach. While documenting my journey💜

So glad you had a good experience and nice nap! 💕
Me too!!! It was a good experience.
Thanks for the heads up
I wait all year for my endoscopy/colonoscopy combo, just for that bit of sleep. Now I’ve written it I realise how sad that sounds. 😅 Best of luck on your Christmas shopping adventures.
Thank you! Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience.
Thanks so much for posting this! Very informative. I'm actually getting surgery soon, too. I am wondering if you could explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!
It happened so fast they put the mask on and I was skeptical but I was out! It feels like the best sleep ever. I woke up in post op surprised & asked how long I was out for. It’s wide awake to instantly out. Well for me it was. There is no way I could’ve stayed awake. Hope that helps! You can always message me on insta if you want to know more.
I am so happy to know your procedure went smoothly! 🥺 I do want to ask further questions privately if that's ok, do you have a social media platform I can contact you on if possible? 🥺
Yes I have insta. There should be a link in my bio.

Thank you my love and I am very sorry for the late response! But I just sent a message to you yesterday :) it might be in your message requests! I hope you are well 🥹🩷
You were able to have your nails going under anesthesia? They told me no polish, no lotion, no perfume, no makeup, etc... Did you have a sore throat from the tube afterwards? Did you have a stomach ache from the biopsy? I am having an upper GI endoscopy next week... I am a bit nervous because I have had difficult intubation before... something about my tonsils/ throat.
Yes I could. They never said anything about them. They did say no metal & had me remove all jewelry. I didn’t have a sore throat. I thought I would. Nothing ached either. For the most part I was just tired. I hope everything goes well. It was a really smooth process for me.
If it had been a major procedure u probably wouldn't have been in time to prepare urself lol🤣... Emergencies are NOT recommended
No this was a planned procedure. I knew in advance.
