Peep got face tattooed to make sure that he HAD to be successful in music because it would have been hard to get a ‘normal job’ once he had them. Almost like a push to work even harder.
He got the word ‘crybaby’ specifically to remind him that when he saw it in the mirror that there were other people in worse positions that him and not to be a crybaby.

I always felt like rappers got face tats as a permanent reminder of their success, it’s nearly impossible to find a job with face tattoos. That meaning they never finna stop making music and improving. They can’t just go back, they locked in. Just what I think though.

Not sure if anyone else has said this yet but Peep said in an interview that getting so many tattoos (especially face tats) helped him follow his dreams. It was hard to get normal jobs when you looked like that and it pushed him to stick at music. But also face tats are just expression. Not everyone has tattoos on their face it makes you different

If you listen to the lyrics, he is saying he is going to hurt her, he is a player. Then she is going to always bring up how he played her and be hurting him back, payback for how is played her.
Face tats = comitment. It was called social suicide back in the days in the sense that you will never be employed or have a normal life if you have face tats. Basically an ultimatum to yourself, you either make it in your field or you have no other career path.
I never understood it either but I respect the dedication.
