Great info guys, as always!
You can actually easily get a permit for the main trail too as long as your flexible with your schedule. We always look a week before and there’s ALWAYS groups that cancel. You can easily snag a permit in that case.
We can’t wait to give this climb a try! Truly epic!!
Epic guide you guys! Love how you structured this and included some more footage from the trip. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 🍻
Thank you for putting so much into these videos. Keeping my hopes up!
I’m the Mexican that said hi to you I’ve been watching since along time I was going through a hard time in life and like your videos
I love how nonchalant you are about climbing. You make it sound so easy. I remember the last scramble i did downhill and my heart was racing for sure
😂 depends on the climb. Hoping it's a lot less nonchalant this season! 🧗🏼
Thanks for the great info and Content. You guys have become crushers :)
Ha cheers!
Funny I just watched your other video. I wandered up there during a 3 week motorcycle PNW trip. I found you can get a permit by claiming no shows on the website. On the main trail there are currently a lot of small waterfalls. Very beautiful.
Nice video! We went backpacking and now watching y'all's videos we are looking into climbing :) the inspo in real
I love the videos and all this information is all great i have been wanting to do this hike so bad. Gonna try it next year maybe.
Spillin all the beans
Even y'alls instructional videos are of the best quality. Thank you
Much appreciated!
Great video and tips. You are great for sharing. Keep Adventuring
What an epic guide and very informative. Thank you so much.
🤘 of course! Glad it was helpful😊
Great video!
Love from India ❤
Love all the climbing vids lately
Sweet!! Definitely planning on making more without becoming a full-fledged “climbing channel” haha. Just want to make cool videos!
Dang it! Now I am thinking about it.
Nice video guys!! I din’t know there were rules about food and bears and “lottery entrance” in some places of the US 😮
Oh look! That’s my comment! That made my day
Also, yes the soundtrack was very good and it added suspense
Haha thanks for commenting! MusicBed really does have the best music.
Congrats and yes to the burger!!
Might go back just for the burger🍔
Shoe recommendations for the maintainer route? And you videos are my top 3 BEST on CZcams🤘🏽🙌🏽
Any solid pair of hiking shoes would be fine unless you need to wear crampons, then you’ll want some stiffer boots.
You guys are so awesome!!! Would love to hang out with you
Come to Tahoe 🤙🏼
Thanks for the pointers! So, the van life is back?
Not entirely
❤
Awesome breakdown video! Also noticed that you guys were using the north face phantom(?) pack? Had my eye on those for a while but haven't seen anyone use them/review them yet. What do you think of those packs for overnight summit trips?
Perfect for overnight trips. The sizing is a little interesting. We’re both wearing S/M as recommended by their website. For Cody, the shoulders are a little bit small but the waist fits well. Overall they’ve been solid. If you watched the Whitney video you’ll know we had them pretty loaded up and they handled well!
@@codyandvictoria Thank you! Just got the 50L version just to have some extra room for winter trips. Not to mention these bags look hella cool on you guys! Without side pockets, do you guys just mostly use the bladder for hydration?
@@davidrchen4930 we either use the bladder or clip a hydrapak to the outside
Can confirm, the pancakes at WP are indeed awesome. Impossible to finish on your own.
Bummed we missed out 🥲 but the burger was amazing!
I'm going just for the burger

How come people need a permit to do a hike ? Seems counter intuitive. Why not just let people walk
Because it would be INSANELY busy. Like - maybe the most popular trail in America.
The permits make sure it never gets too crowded
@@codyandvictoria How ever in spain more then 500.000 people walk the camino de Santiago just fine every year.
