I don’t recall a QB ever improve nearly this much. His improvement is on his own volition. No other players on the team made him that much better. He would be just as exceptional on any other team and bring them up to the same level as where the Bills are now. I really hope he retires as a Bill.

I was on the Josh Allen train from the beginning. However, I’m not God, I couldn’t even imagine him becoming as GREAT as he has. The perfect game, the best game ever the following week. He jumps over people, he’s the smartest person in any stadium he plays in and he has a rocket arm that is very accurate.
I too was for Allen. But sitting at #21 and #22 I felt there was no way we would get him. And then Beane worked his magic and was able to drop to #7. With everyone else people were talking about pretty much off the board, I could only hope, and sure enough, we got him. I liked him mostly for his work ethic a small town guy going from a Community Collage to a small D-1 college, I felt he would be perfect in our smaller market. I was so happy we got him and his work ethic has been paying off with his vast improvements through the years. And the best part of it is he hasn't even reached his ceiling yet. Not even close IMO
I was 100% for Josh when he showed improvement after coming back from Injury his rookie year. I tweeted Josh's dad before his rookie year was up and told him that Josh will not be just the face of the Buffalo Bills, but the entire NFL by no later than year 5. He's right on schedule.

I don't follow college ball so I knew nothing about Josh before he joined the Bills. That's a good thing because if I did know his background I would have been skeptical. All I can say is thank God he's a Bill. From the perspective of class, heart, and playing ability we definitely have the best QB in the NFL, anyone who doesn't see that is an idiot. Thank you Josh, for putting so much effort into improving yourself to the level of player you are today. You are an exceptional young man and again, I thank God every day you are a Bill.

I didn’t know who he was when he was selected but I remember watching him run in those first two games he was out in and I got real excited. I said this kid can move! If he can throw he’ll be dangerous. And look at the man now! So glad I’m around for this bills era!

I believed all the hype about Rosen, the media was basically saying you were an idiot if you didn't want him. but after looking at the Allen tapes, especially the fact that most of his plays were made running for his life in Wyoming, thought he might fit right in!!

I was always on the Allen train. But being a Bills fan I was always accustomed to not getting who I wanted. I had “accepted” that Rosen was likely going to be the pick. I liked Rosen as well coming out in that draft. But when Allen was picked I was hype for it. And after those first two seasons when people were questioning if he was the guy, I just kept telling everyone “you’ll see”. We’ve never had a guy who was committed to honing his craft the way he has been. 4 years in and he still dedicates his off-season to getting better. His attention to detail is second to none. Hearing his comments about the other day about putting his receivers in position to get YAC still just proves the guy he is. Every year he says what he is going to work on and comes out the next season and proves he wasn’t just bullshitting everyone. The kid is just incredible. The next decade is going to be the world watching a legend in the making. Glad he’s our QB.

I knew from game one that Josh had it. Year 2 I was excited. Year three I am thanking God for that draft pick.
I remember watching the combine and Mel Kyper talking about Josh Allen and his cannon for an arm. He was throwing out routs in a three step drop and the ball was out so fast I was drooling. On draft nite I was thinking Rosen was the safe choice but really was ecstatic we took the chance and went with the higher ceiling guy. My dad swears up and down he wanted Allen and I wanted Rosen but my mom knows the truth and we always laugh and roll our eyes when he starts talking about it. Every Sunday without fail he acts like he was the Allen Nostradomus. Life is to short so we let him have that false memory if it makes him feel happy lol. All said and done we all deserve to have a player like Josh weather we wanted to draft him or not he's brought us back to relevancy and made it so much more fun to be a Bills fan...Thanks Josh

Probably up to 4 days before the draft I believed the media then it was time to watch film like the boises state game and you could just see his talent and upside then we drafted him and I screamed cause he to me was already cam Newton esc who could be better then even Steve young was

I admit, going into the draft I was hoping Rosen or Darnold. When they moved up to get Allen I took a deep breath and told myself “they obviously see something in this guy and know things that we don’t, so just trust the process.” He has certainly kept his word by making Beane and McDermott look like the smartest people in the draft room.
