    Have always been a fan of Klipsch, and this 600 does not dissuade that feeling at all. Love the Sub's ability to shake the house, and the sound is crisp overall.. I listen to music as much as watching a movie, so this setup fits the bill, and the price point is excellent. Great video

    Ive never seen this channel before until now. But i thank you so much for the amount of info you pack into this review. Instead of just spouting specifications, you are actually going into the reasons why you do or dont like something in great detail, and then on top of that showing us (letting us hear) what you mean by it. If you are able to, do please keep this format for future reviews; its REALLY helpful.

    Thank you for this review. It's greatly appreciated by me as I found out that Klipsch Cinema 600 sounds much closer to cinema sound than Sony HT-G700! Cinema doesn't give that much treble, that clean audio which sucks if it's too much. I want deep and bassy sound rather than having crystal clear sound! It's not called Cinema for nothing! Though I don't know if it was because it doesn't have Dolby Atmos, maybe if it had it would have cleaner sound close to Sony which I don't like. :/ I even like low quality songs sometimes because they tend to give deeper sound!

    A total newb on soundbars but just bought a nice tv that really needs some enhanced audio to give a better experience. This was the first review that I saw regarding the Sony that really put in perspective what you're getting vs a "less frills better quality" bar. I think I'll stick to some enhanced but not surround sound for now (tricky room instalation, not really feeling the urge to use the limited buget on that).

    As someone who has been using a 20 years old mid range (price wise) focal 5.1ht system linked to an equally old Denon receiver, that Klipsch Soundbar set is the closest sounding Soundbar to the traditional HT speakers, other Soundbars from not audio companies like Samsung, Sony and LG sounds like coming from cheap karaoke speakers...

  • @christianbonnet3822
    @christianbonnet3822 Před 2 lety +1

    Hi, have you noticed a very low noise like a interference in the subwoofer (sounds like "shhhhh"), it is felt when you listen at a very low volume (close to the minimum) and there is silence in the room, it is even more felt if you approach the subwoofer.
    I also noticed that noise is when the bar sends bass to the subwoofer, if it is not playing bass it does not make the noise. I bought 2 cinema 600s and they both make the same interference noise, so it doesn't seem like a unit defect,. Do you know what it can be? ,the subwoofer is next to the bar, less than half a meter, I tried to unplug all the electrical equipment in my house (even put down circuits from the central panel), including the wireless ones, just leave the bar and the subwoofer connected to electricity, and the noise continues, so it is not an electrical problem in my house, nor is it wireless interference. Besides if the problem were electrical or interference, the noise would be all the time, and here the noise appears only when the subwoofer receives audio data, when the bar does not send sound signals the subwoofer is silent, so I interpret that it is a manufacturing failure in some component, or is it a defect of the wireless system with which it is necessary to live. To hear the noise, 3 conditions have to be met at the same time that perhaps very few people meet them to notice it. The conditions are
    1- Have the sound almost to the minimum (between 1 and 2 volume LEDs, Up to 3 volume LEDs can also be heard, after that level the sound already covers the noise).
    2-The room must be completely closed and silent (nor no noise from the street or outside)
    3- You have to be less than one meter from the subwoofer (or listen to it directly from the subwoofer output if you do not have a good ear) and play audio that dominates the bass, since if there is a lot of mids or treble they will cover the noise of the subwoofer.
    it becomes annoying when there is silence and listening at low volume
    Thanks!

    • @neverenoughtech
      @neverenoughtech  Před 3 lety +1

      The issue would not be endemic to ARC. Could be a bad hdmi cable, big with Ambeo, tv, or combination. I would try switching stuff out. If you have a streaming box connect to tv and arc and see if the issue goes away. If yes then the problem lies with the tv or tv Ambeo interaction. The only time I’ve gotten sound drop offs is with Sony Soundbars that don’t support LPCM but I try to play LPCM anyway (via Apple TV) - have not had a problem with Ambeo in sound cutouts. Best I have without being able to be there. An unplug replug of all components and power cables would. E a good idea. Sometimes I have to do this for Ambeo to recognize the sub (annoying)

    You missed something on the Cinema 600. The Klipsch Connect app has been updated so you now have EQ controls.

      When did this update occur? Is it available on iOS? The Klipsch Connect app is very basic. It lets you register the product and that about it. No eq features on iOS.

    Sony, not having their own hires format on their soundbar just shows you what they think of its music playing chops. No tweeter, no hires, why bother. They didn't even think, "Let's include it so it can link with Sony TV's wireless and save an HDMI port and create a super spiffy Sony ecosystem". Nope.
    I'm not even bothering with a soundbar. Just will get a cheap with ARC and some half decent speakers.

    I think this was a good review as far as details go, BUT you completely unfairly gave the Sony two points for a one point thing, and refused to give the Klipsch points in one or two spaces where it was clearly superior. So I'd love to know your rationale in this scoring system. Other than eARC, Klipsch is the obvious winner. EXCEPT for their rude and mindless ignoring of the app. Until Klipsch actually updates the app to have at least a five band equalizer, and controls for leveling the different channels, they are still in the doghouse. Nobody wants to look at a series of dots to determine where things are set... Lastly, YOU lose a few credibility points, just for using CRapple TV, which is HORRIBLE! Lol. And the immersion happens with the Klipsch after adding the 3's surround speakers. Good vid.
