- My girlfriend would be pissed if she knew how the announcer was pronouncing the word "Saiyan"... OK, what we have here, for week 3, is a Cartoon Theatre showing of Tom and Jerry: The Movie in 2000. The first brief second of this video shows my original recording of the movie, from BBC Two in 1998. As you will see, I missed the first 10 minutes or so, so I took the first opportunity I had to rerecord it... I knew I had this one video, but I never realised until now that it was from 2000. How do I know it was 2000? Because there's an advert for On Digital in one of the movie breaks, and OD went bankrupt in 2001 (GT: Gondarth Remembers Cartoon Network)... So this is pretty much the only remaining link to On Digital that I have... Happy times!

I watched Tom and Jerry the movie multiple times on boomerang uk and I have 2 recordings one that is part rec and the another one with the full movie on the sky+ box. Sadly I can't play these recordings and watch boomerang uk and other paid uk channels due to my parents switching Internet boxes with nowtv instead.
They still rerun this movie on boomerang uk as of 19/10/2020.

Tom and Jerry the movie came out in 1993.
It's a funny world we live in when Lickboot has the same actor as Frollo from The Hunchback of Norte Dame. Yeah this movie really isn't all that great if you ask me. Still a decent throwback with all the ads from the good ol CN days though.

I recorded the movie twice. The original recording was done a year prior and missed the first 10 minutes or so, so I decided to retape it a year later.

I literally just saw the Tom and Jerry movie a short while ago. Like TATMR, I don't think it's as awful a movie as I've heard. Yeah, it's not great by any means, but as I've said before, I've seen so... much... worse....
Agreed... The worst thing about the movie, I think, are the songs. They're not awful, but they're not done justice with the god awful singers, barring Robyn's voice actor.
More people were trying to bend their brains around the fact that they could TALK now.
