- Brulee has lost his mum, and won't survive unless Dr Chris Brown can find him a surrogate, but it's no guarantee a mare will accept the little foal. Charlie the cat has swallowed a ribbon and Dr Lisa Chimes urgently needs to locate it and get it out, or Charlie will have to undergo surgery. At the Australian Reptile Park three young emus are stealing food and terrorising visitors so General Manager Tim Faulkner is forced to round up the trouble makers.

For the cat with the ribbon: you should do a display in the customer waiting room with items that have been removed from pets to let owners know what to watch for to keep away from pets
That's a great idea!
My dog (50 lb pibble) had to have stomach surgery 3 years ago, because we pulled an old carpet and she decided to sneak eat a giant chunk of carpet padding foam and it got stuck in her duodenum and blocked it.
The surgeon called me to report on the surgery and was like "well I got the mass out. Not sure what it is though. Appears to be a huge muticolored mass of foam padding. Ive pulled a lot of foreign bodies out of stomachs over the years and never seen anything like it".
She got called "literal carpet muncher" for a while afterwards.
Awesome idea!!!
It's also why I've never been able to stand tinsel or plastic Easter grass.
I was so glad to transfer to colored paper grass.
@reconz 82299 sometimes you don’t even have to take your eyes off them 🤣

Is it only me that's watching this for the 25th time and still thinking 'Chris! Hurry up and give the foal a bottle! ' Lol!
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now.

I had a mare that would let any foal in the paddock with her and her foal, suckle. It must've looked odd to passersby to see a different coloured foal drink from her during the course of the day! She was a really good mum.
In May 2021, I watched a video about "Orphan Foal Meets Foster Mom." It was on Friesian Horses of the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 A mare named Uniek had lost her foal being stillborn. That was at Stall G. A neighbor down the road had a newborn foal whose mother passed away after birthing. Yvonne Horjus, who owned Uniek, wanted to try to pair the two together. I will never forget this in my life. As they brought the foal Rising Star into the barn, Uniek started to prance around with happiness. She looked like she was dancing. And she made noises of excitement. She readily adopted the orphan and it worked out successfully. It's a wonderful story!
Ive seen that...
I would love to see a current update video for both of them now that time has passed...😊
@@guyguyver7552 Regarding the story of Uniek and Rising Star, Rising Star is 2 yeas old now. He still resides at Stall G in Friesland and enjoys hanging out with 2 colt friends his age. Yvonne Horjus started her collection of horses more than a year and half ago with Shetland ponies. Her husband built her many stalls several months ago. When they were completed, she brought her favorite horse Uniek to her place along with 2 of Uniek's Friesian Horses friends. You can learn more on the Friesian Horses channel.
Risey is now a 2 year old and Uniek is a wonderful mum❤
@@guyguyver7552Go to "Friesian Horses" where Yvonne Horjus includes Rising Star in videos. She now has him at her own Stall H that was built a year ago. He will be 3 years old in May. Unfortunately, he has Wobblers disease whereby there is a weakness in the back legs. She has tried different treatments to try to help him improve. He has improved some.
What a beautiful foal. Thank you for helping these beautiful baby. Well done Chris
there is a wonderful beautiful story of a mare who lost her foal who fostered a day old foal who lost his mom. it's on a channel called Friesian horses!
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 68 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼 ❤ 🎀
Howdy my fellow Texan! I'm in the Houston/Galveston area. 🤠 I just love this show!
Hi fellow Texans, I am right down the road in Cibolo. I love this show as well!
Zambi Lioness cub seemed to remember Dr. Chris and was very affectionate when he visited again on her first birthday. It's good that she had dogs to socialize with. Lions need a family. I love Lions and it was a treat to see Zambi again.
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now.
Prayers for their bonding. Love Brulee and his new mum.
That kitty's eyes are really something.
I absolutely love Bondi Vets and associates! The horses are so special. A very sad situation turned into a blessing for both mare and foul. You can tell that both mom and daughter are truly devoted to their animals. Does my heart good to see this connection. God bless you all and thank you so very much for sharing these stories.
Poor Charlie he's so scared his eyeballs r huge poor guy 🙂❤️
I've had horses most of my life and this puts tears in my 👀 eyes
Look up vid: "Orphan foal meets foster mother Queen Uniek. I've never seen this before!"
on Friesian Horses channel. (Same vid Tina Sweenson refers to.) The foal is now a handsome yearling colt.
@@marysueeasteregg YES! I love that channel! Friesians are so gorgeous.
Did Chris ever make good on his promise of gifting our beautiful lion with his shoes for her next birthday? Well, Chris? Did you make her happy?
The rat pack…🤣 such a fitting name for those naughty trouble makers.
26:08 I'm crying of cuteness 😭☺️
What a beautiful little foal. Great job all around, vets!

I am glad the ribbon was taken out the cat's stomach. Also, awesome that the foal was to get a segregate mom. Tim and his staff had there work cut out for them, to catch the emu's. However, they did an awesome job at it. The orphan cub sure has grown. Great work by the vet's and Tim and his staff.
.. er... A SURROGATE mother...
@@lisajoyaslanis-Thanks. For the correction.
@@ediebaxter6194 Welcome... I make mistakes, all the time! 😂👍😣

What a WONDERFUL foster Momma!
God bless the work you do
The foal is so pretty in my opinon. I really like the coloring and the ending makes me so happy.
This is so amazing!! Thanks for saving these beautiful animals! You are awesome!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😻😻😻😻😻😻
Cats. No matter how big or small, wild or domesticated…they love a box. A hiding place.
The amazing thing about life is keeping it, but we don't always manage it. My affection and respect to the vets and their teams. My heart is full of love for you and I'm very happy to see everything going right.
Beautiful! ...both mare and colt.
I pray to God to give you a lot of beautiful days and you know God loves us so much,So where are you originally from? I am David originally from Spain but currently living in Texas now.
For all of her big size you can just tell that Zambie is still a cub. Just a very big cub.
Cats with boxes!! 😂😂😂
Foal Brûlé has a 💔. She's depressed. Thank goodness she found a new mum.
He
Everyone at the park saying “ahh, that’s my lunch!” But everyone is just easing two plain slices of bread for lunch? 🤨
Thank you CHRIS and all the DR's to save all the animal's life's.
BEUTIFUL baby horse and the New mommy🙌🙏🙏🙏
God bless you thanks for helping animals
Charlie the cat really exhibiting some textbook orange cat behaviour.
Charlie is the definition of orange cat behavior
I had a cat like Charlie before. Any type of string she would eat. I liked to cross-stitch. She would sneek up to eat the cast off end strings. Had to train myself to put all items into a latched basket. Couldn't have tinsel on the Christmas Tree anymore. Had to look at everything coming into the house and determine if it would get eaten. She never got over it or out grew it in her 15 years. Before I trained myself she was at the vet for this issue 3 time sick. Thankfully ever time we were sent home with antibiotics and no surgery
Love Bondi Vets! So enjoying watching these programs again!
Thank you once again for a heartwarming video. Bondi Vets rock! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤💐👍👍👍
This was perfect for both mare and foal. Beautiful moment ❤️
Great job with the foul and the kitty with the ribbon 🎀, oh my the emues!
Wow Zambi grew up to be a beautiful lioness😍
Omg the emus 😂 Too funny! It's not their fault though, clearly zoo guests fed them and now they see humans as food dispensers. They're such great birds.
Enough with the 3 rogue EMUS! I have seen this video clip 5x and that's more than enough to see the same birds!
Pretty baby Brulee' I hope you find a wonderful new Mama! I am sorry that you lost your Mama.
Charlie has an eclectic appetite.
A very expensive eclectic appetite.
Charlie the cat has the most beautiful eyes 👀
I swear I’ve seen somewhere that goats milk is a good substitute for horse milk in a pinch. I also swear I’ve seen a video or article about a goat raising a Foal. I’m not saying it’s a permanent solution but it would of helped if they couldn’t find a surrogate mum for the foal right away.
My favorite episode!
About the ribbon eating cat! If you wouldn't leave items around for a human baby then don't leave it down around your pets!
Losing their dam and not being able to find a surrogate is definitely not a death sentence. Sounds like he probably had colostrum from his dam before she sadly passed. I raised a 3 day old foal on milk replacer. At first i slept on a cot in the stall and when he nudged me awake i would make up some warm milk. He thrived. Soon his feedings were less frequent and he learned to drink his milk replacer out of a bucket. Why act like the only way this foal will survive is if a nurse mare is found ? This doom and gloom is a bit disingenuous.
Wow, I didn't know that thanks for sharing this information with us. I love horses.
Awesome! Good health! 👌😀❤️
he will be strong now
Lovely 😻
Nice relationship.
Great job Chris
I love it

Super AWESOME video. ❤️
How sweet!! Enjoying seeing!!*
It wouldn't be just young kids, I would be scared to death. Lol
Enjoyed the episode.😊
I love horses!
I'd be milking some of the other mares and giving the milk to the foal.

I want Charlie his eyes are huge❤❤❤
Chris is gorgeous and the best vet
Why are all of the recent episodes repeats?
Bondi Vet, are there any more new episodes you haven't uploaded? ☹️
Exactly 👍
agreed
We need new content!
Good idea !
I hope there will be an update on the black swan! I sure hope he’s okay!
i would hate working at a farm with all the bugs
And what chris just did lol
The emo’s look like the bad guys from the movie The Dark Crystal lol

❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂 I love the rat pack 👍👍🐁🐀🐁❤️❤️❤️
My Mom banned ribbon because of her cat. He would attack the package, shred the ribbon and eat it.
@bondivet please bring back the 24/7 Livestream on CZcams
Definitely! I miss it! Not the bots but the eps!
@ Dr Lisa Chimes y are a nice doc & I really like you :) Buuuut, I´m a physiotherapist & personal trainer : We have to do something about your back muscles. Your shoulder muscles rotate too far forward. Your chest muscles are stronger than your back muscles and that's not good.
Beautiful1
What happened to the 24-hour stream?
Why didn't this family have foal replacer milk on hand, especially that far from a Vet
I was excited to see a new episode, but none of these are new. Bummer.
Looks like emus demand tribute from the nation they defeated in war. Vae victis.
🤣 can't with the one that steel food ,dunno the name in english it's autruche in french,I ve been attacked by one I ran,she ran after me with her big head
Un émeu. L'autruche est beaucoup plus grosse et plus grande. Les deux espèces sont assez agressives et leurs pattes sont très puissantes.
For the foal: could the foal survive bottle fed witha. Human by its side almost or the whole 24/7 until its strong enough to be on its own?
Im sure, that the foals biological mum and the mares biological foal are doing the same in heaven.
Why would someone have FOUR HUNDRED HORSES????
Taking chesnuts from the mare and boiling them releases an oil that you can coat a foal with to have mom except it.
🙏❤️🙏❤️
Oh, come on now! The emus are stealing food from picnickers. All you need to do is tempt them with a sandwich, or a basket of whatever they like to eat, just out of reach, and lead them wherever you want them to go. I mean, shouldn't that be a no-brainer? But I get it - good TV is good TV, lol.
I don't know. They're pretty snarky
Was thinking exactly the same thing
I mean, you dont want them to get used to that food its not really good for them, so i dont think bribing them with that js a good idea. And they might think that he'll give them that type of food normally if they ended up getting it, and may start refusing the normal diet
Great episode. I still can't understand why they blurred the bucket of the mare's poop. It never grossed me out when I had horses and mucked their stall. Why would it shock the viewers ?
Some viewers might get grossed out even though it isn't gross
Some people seem to have phobia of these kinda stuff I heard somewhere.
The ribon cat’s owner is gru’s mum litarally
Omg
Hope this lady buys the mare of the guy as it would be a shame If they were separated when foal weaned
I don't care what anyone says emus and ostriches have always and will continue to thoroughly scare me
First view! Woo!
Check out Jackson Galaxy, cat behaviorist. He has seen this with cats of all ages where they eat foreign objects. Its a specific condition and can be treated with medication and some changes made by the owner.

"Emus aren't that heavy"? 25kg is over 55 pounds!!
Mare's milk is sweet. I know this cause I drink some.
That cat's eyes are fully dilated
I have a foal give to me. From day one. I feed him every 4 hrs. Put the milk in a bowl. He think he was human. I was his mother.

For the foal: can the foal get sedated from.drinking the moms milk after she was sedated?
Hows the foal?

Maybe season 7 but it's all repeats and getting boring
True... I feelt i something was of
Quite possibly the product of the virus lockdowns and restrictions. There may not be many videos from the whole thing.
Why are you watching.
No one is twisting your arm.
no one is forcing you to watch this, so if it’s boring for you then stop watching. pretty simple
As much as I totally love this show, I get a little weary of seeing the same compilation over and over. I would really appreciate being able to see something different, something new. Please?!?
What is with all the reused content!!!!! This is getting aggravating!! This is not season 7
