🙏🏾 I’ve been reciting the “I Have a Dream” speech for well over 20 years at this point. I am now 34, which is the age that Dr. King was when he gave it. In honor of my hero and inspiration, please enjoy this video.
I never imagined the day would come when I’d be saying the speech with my own children in attendance. I never imagined the places that God would take me, and that this gift would still be utilized decades later. Given how my life started, the fact that He gave me this gift and that I can still do it is only by the Grace and Mercy of God. While preaching is my passion and my purpose, I will never forget how God used the words of Dr. King to introduce me to that calling.
Who knew that a little boy with a learning disability who “would never be able to learn” would one day be doing this? TO GOD BE THE GLORY! 🙏🏾
