Justin Time Repentance is a change of mind. For the Gentiles it means to “turned to God from idols” (Thessalonians 1:9); as seen in Acts 17:16…29-31 which says:
“Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry. … Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”
And as a result of Paul’s preaching verse 34 says: “Howbeit certain men clave unto him, and believed …”
The Apostle Paul never says “repent and believe.” When a person believes, they are changing their mind from whatever they previously thought to believe in the truth of the gospel.
The first recording of Apostle Paul’s message when preaching the gospel is also the first time “justification” is preached in the Bible, is Acts 13:38,39:
“Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins: And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.”
“Believe” is always the only thing he called on sinners to do to be saved. Here is a sample list:
Act 14:1 “And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.”
Act 16:30,31 “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Romans 3:21,22 “But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:”
Romans 3:28 “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.”
Romans 4:3 and jumping to the end of the chapter, Romans 4:23-25 says: “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. … Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”
Then Romans 5:1 concludes: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”
1Corinthians 1:20,21 “Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”
The Gospel in its essence and simplicity is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4 which says:
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
To “believe in vain” according to I Corinthians 15:14 & 17 is to not believe that Jesus Christ rose from the dead - “And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. … And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.”
But according to verse 2, if you believe verses 3&4, then “ye are saved.”
This is the “simplicity in Christ” -
II Corinthians 11:3,4 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.”

I’ve recently been born again as of Nov. 2018. I always believed in God and became a lukewarm Christian over time. I did shrooms, drank, but mostly smoked pot everyday. I look back and can’t believe how patient Jesus has been waiting for me (I’m 39). I have been saved by an angel or Jesus (not sure at the time) at least twice, but possibly 3 times.
A voice told me to let off the gas pedal when I was going through an intersection, as soon as I did, a truck blew a stop sign that would have killed me. I also fell asleep at the wheel another time and WOKE up while driving sitting upright and very much positioned like a robot. I ended up on the other side of town somehow! Fell into a pool’s deep end as a child, somehow my mother knew to check on me and pulled me out.
I had another experience where I was praying for a relative that was brutally murdered and burned alive years prior. I was HIT like a sledgehammer with unexplainable peace and joy. Instantly tears poured out of my eyes and I had the breath sucked out of me, totally winded. It was like I was experiencing the joy of heaven but my human body could not handle it! I also experienced an interaction with several demons in the basement of a psychic lady’s house who summoned them and spoke to them nightly. The fear and anger I felt as their eyes pierced my soul was like nothing of this earth......,over and over and over Jesus was calling me!!! I was too much of a fool to notice, even though I believed in Him!
In November of 2018, after a minor argument with my fiancée, I heard a demon’s voice talk to me telepathically in my mind- “I hate you, I’ll kill you and tear your family apart.” With the most conviction in my soul I commanded that thing to leave my house in the name of Jesus Christ. Every room in the house I yelled at it. I felt our Lord blast through my house and beat those things down! Whoosh gone! I prayed and thanked him and repented for allowing them to get close to me. He talked to me telepathically asking me questions and made me feel the guilt of my sins. Lots of information as a sort of psychic download into my heart and mind simultaneously. Question 1: “After all I’ve done for you, what have you done for Me, and others?” Question 2: “Am I NOT enough for you?” Then, the weight of my sins lifted, it was incredible.
Since that moment, I’ve had no desire to drink, smoke, blaspheme, masterbate, be angry, stressed out or sin at all. Wanting to share love with no other possible explanation. I notice the tiniest signs he puts in my path....I see them right away and chuckle, seeing He really does work in mysterious ways. I fully understand how to have a relationship with him and not need to physically see or hear our relationship. He is incredible people! Let him into your heart! I had felt in my soul the the extremes of joy and sorrow through just some of my life experiences..... Feeling the presence of God and Satan deep inside through strange encounters. For that, I am blessed to KNOW Christianity is the truth, yet I STILL tried to not fully commit.
He wants us all to repent and accept Him. He actually told me this! Don’t think you can sin all your life and God will be OK with it. He really will reward you if you follow with all your heart!! One night I was in my Living room when all of a sudden I heard a voice say something to the matter of I rebuke you. I can't remember exactly but As clear as day like someone else was in the room. At that time I thought I was ok with God. And had a saved by Good works attitude! It wasn't till some time later that I realized I was still selfish prideful and Very high minded. Plus Even though I wasn't doing certain things they were still in my heart. I deff felt it was a warning before I ended up in hell. I don't deserve any mercy or forgiveness but he did Lately sinful things turn my stomach. What a Mighty God we serve

Ugh it's so annoying i just want ONE sign that he is with me and that i am on the right path. JUST ONE SIGN. I know I'm not worthy... And i know i am nothing but dust. But i just one sign lord.

      In July of 2008:
My vision of God appearing to me as The MOST SACRED, HEAVENLY, BEAUTIFUL ANGEL IN THE FORM OF MAN.
      My Heavenly Experience:
In 2008 I had a near death experience, I saw God and was healed supernaturally. The following is my experience.
I used to believe in God when I was three years old but over the years I became more and more skeptical about God to the point I was mostly agnostic, a science-minded technical person until this experience at age fifty three.
The following is my near death experience and seeing the face of God who miraculously healed me. I had been suffering from C-Spine related chronic migraine headaches and L-Spine injuries which I took opiate medicine for for thirteen years. One day which was a particularly painful day, I overdosed on my opiate pain medicine. It was not intentional, it just happened.
The next thing I remember was, Jesus talking to me in a different way... He didn't really talk but he did put telepathic thought into my mind, I did not see him in the beginning of my experience but somehow I knew He was Jesus.
Somehow, and this is only possible with heavenly forces, I was floating or flying alongside Jesus but I could not see him. He took me to New York City flying slowly past the New York Stock Exchange (I was amazed because I live in Texas but I was instantly there without traveling). I saw the ticker fully illuminated because it was dusk. I became aware that there was something very bad about it, that perhaps it is the cause of so much suffering in the world.
He then took me to a type of industrial building where He showed me how batteries are made. They didn't look anything like batteries I'd seen. They were very large batteries sitting on rows of shelving units in different stages of development. I understood that this should be the energy source of the future.
The next thing I remember was that I was flying or moving somehow through the universe but now I was by myself. I could see stars all around and I saw what appeared to me to be the very center of the universe which was a very enormous, massive glowing light.
Then I remember going closer and closer then slower and slower to the point where I could see what was the MOST SPECTACULAR VERY BEAUTIFUL, HEAVENLY ANGEL in the form of a man. I saw God.
I did not travel through a tunnel into light but the being I saw definitely appeared to be the source of all the light of the universe. There was brilliant, nearly blinding light radiating from His left shoulder completely surrounding His head, to His right shoulder. He radiated light. The light appeared to beam out in all directions in the universe.
UPON SEEING THIS, I SUDDENLY BECAME A BELIEVER IN GOD. I FELT SO MUCH LOVE, LOVE LIKE I'VE NEVER FELT IN HUMAN FORM. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE JESUS WITH ALL MY HEART AND SOUL!!!
I remember Jesus telling me that “it's not your time so here's what I will do for you”: He continued: “you have serious pain so I will take away your pain" Today I am pain free.
There is much more to this because after this experience, I recalled other events in my life going back to when I was three years old. So I think my story is important and that it will help others to believe, have faith and hope that there is more to this physical life than what we can see with our physical eyes.
      💫✨Jesus Saves✨💫
      God bless you!

odessa1011 Repentance is a change of mind.

Vera Sønderby Repentance is a change of mind.
We are The saints yes couple years ago I backslid while I was out there enjoying my sinful life I had a dream where a bright light came from above and form like the sun and it started looking me in my eyes and shouted “I am not pleased” 3x it was like thunder or more heavier I was so frighten! I was just amazed for days but then slowly I fell back to my old ways then I saw again as the years went by in another dream the clouds began to form a head in the sky and it had a crucifix around it or a crown I’m not sure but it resembled both and the head turn to look me and I ran! Again as time went by I still continue to ask the Lord for time and stayed in my sins until last year December 25th 2018 I had a dream that changed my life forever I saw fire that look like pour gold covering the sky! While it would cover and roll back I heard a mystical music nothing like what I have heard here on earth before. Then I saw 2 eyes close they were gold something immediately spoke to my heart it was like I knew the eyes were ready to open! Then I heard a trumpet sound!!!!!!!! It was sooooooooo loud 😭😭😭😭😭 omg it was heavy!!!!!!! Loudddddddd I knew immediately cause there was a girl there who it seem like we were friends because I had went to visit her house when this all was happening she was dressed in full white!!! It was as if no one had to tell her when she heard the trumpet she started dancing and crying saying “Christ is coming, yes yes Lord we’ve been waiting.” She was so happy and clapping I began to go on my knees to pray but it was like I was separated from Gods love I felt a thick fear and I knew it was late. Then a vice told me the book was closed and it’s late! When I realised it was too late I began to beg him to please wake me up if this is a dream because I wasn’t ready. I’m so happy now I’ve reconciled with him and I can tell u I am never everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr turning back to sin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ is real don’t wait until it’s toooooooo late if u read this message and still refused to make him Lord over your heart then I am sure this will judge u in the end... can’t say nobody told u😔 I’ve been praying for those without Christ so much!!!! Jesus is the true God!

This is an amazing testimony, I do want to add something though. A Christian can struggle with sin and not be a lukewarm one. Even Paul admitted in Romans 7 that he still did, even after his incredible conversion. Being lukewarm means you're just coasting through life and not really caring about your spiritual health. We are in a battle every day and sometimes, we will miss the mark. None of us are sinless, but our desire for sin will continue to lessen if we truly are in Christ. If we do sin, we have an advocate who has gone before us. Let us come boldly to the throne of grace. We may not always get it right, but He does and has already stood in the gap for us. Praise Him for His wonderful and limitless grace!!

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved." For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
"I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins.”
We can go on and on throwing scripture at each other (hence why there is many denominations, not all can agree on each others interpretations.) I believe having Faith in Christ is what actually saves you, otherwise the guy on the cross was never saved. In saying that I am not against water baptism for this is the way Christ intended of physically playing out the forgiveness of sins transition. It's like circumcision all over again.. do we do it so we are saved do we not etc..

Billy Rigo "Your Bearded Realtor" Repentance is a change of mind.

Thanks so much for sharing. So encouraging! One of my friends who is an atheist (and someone who I’ve been praying for) recently began asking questions about what it feels like to pray to God and even asked me to pray for him. I know God is working in him.... this testimony was so on time and am encouraged to keep believing that HE CAN DO IT!

Friend of Holy Spirit Repentance is a change of mind.

@@dustinf1765 I've believed in Jesus since I was a child. But last year my dad and uncle were murdered, my faith was shaken. Many amazing things have happened since.
About 7 months after I was praying and had to know if my dad was in heaven. I dream every night, so I asked for a dream. Woke up next day had no dream at all. That was odd. My boy is 9 he kept following me around and normally he would be playing. So I asked if he was okay. He said you probably won't believe me but I seen pawpaw last night in heaven and he said to tell you yes. I was amazed but a couple weeks later I was doubting again and prayed that same prayer. Again I had no dream. My daughter is 3. She was very close with her paw and screamed and cried every time someone mentioned him. So we stopped in front of her. Well this morning she woke up so happy, and she's never a morning person. She told me I went up there and seen pawpaw. Told me what they did and later told my mom the same thing. Now we can speak of him and she's happy and says hes up there.
I told my little brother about this and he said I will pray for you to have a dream about him. About 2 weeks later I did and it was unusually real. I told my mom about it the next day and she started laughing and said go ask your brother about his dream last night. It was the same. Many other things have happened but this is long enough . 🙂

I was an atheist myself, and borderline agnostic. I remember this one certain day late 2015, where I was feeling depress, empty inside and without purpose in life. Out of nowhere I just blurted out, "I need to get right with God", I remember laughing at myself and wondering why I said that out of the blue. Within a minute my head was bombarded with the name of Jesus, again and again, several times a day, Jesus Jesus Jesus. For around 3 months, I kept telling myself, this isn't real, there's no God. I thought I was going crazy but, near the end of the 3rd month. I started doing research on the Lord Jesus Christ, I started listening to the testimonies of Atheist, Muslim, Satanist, etc. That got saved and converted to Christianity. The more I listen, the hungrier I got to know more about the Lord Jesus. Very long story short, I finally gave in, went to my bathroom one day (early 2016) and locked the door. Got on my knees for about a week, and asked The Lord Jesus Christ to forgive me and save me. I remember waking up one day, and i was filled with this feeling of peace and joy that i never felt before, and a strong hunger to read the Bible. that's when i knew in my soul, that the Lord Jesus saved a sinner like me. i was born again, i was saved by grace through Faith = (Believe/Trust/Hope) on the Lord Jesus Christ and his precious shed blood. [1st Corinthians 15:1-4]
well that's it, ever since then i haven't been the same. i want to live for Lord and stand on his word, not because i'm obligated to, but because i want to live a biblical lifestyle, that would seem pleasing in his eyes.

@@dustinf1765 - Thank you as well brother, for your powerful testimony.
During your dry season, calm down and remember who's holding you up in these dark times brother. The Lord Jesus said that he will never abandon you. He said that he will always be with you, so even when your "Faith" is being tested in the storm and in the fire, when you can't feel his presence, joy, nor peace, remember that he is still with you.
Here are some verses to remind you of his promises, and fight off those faith killing thoughts of doubt.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Psalm 94:14 For the LORD will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.
1 Samuel 12:22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
      Isaiah 43:2-3
2When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 3For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.......
      1 Peter 1:5-7
5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
      Romans 8:38-39
38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Remember what the Lord told the apostle Paul, when he asked the Lord to remove that irritating "thorn" in his side, "Paul, my grace is sufficient".
Be strong and of good courage brother, for the Lord our God is ALWAYS with us.

TiffanyMJ Repentance is a change of mind.

God bless you all Jesus is Alive, des I hear also for one time his voice. Yes, its an amazing powerful voice, what fills my whole Body with energy. Its comes from my backside. It was also lovely voice, i cant even explain how great it was, and he just call my Name John. I pray that god will open the heart for the unbelievers
