    From Australia, I only have one Lola so you’ve given me info I wasn’t aware of for future propagation from this plant . I’ve liked, thanks for the helpful hints 😀

    THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!! Lola's are my all-time favourite succulent as well, and I've never successfully propagated them either by leaf. I can't wait to try your method! :)

    My leaves do grow roots and pups. However the pups don't grow beyond a centimeter diameter and the leaf is dry. Also three pups grew, but no roots. Can they still be potted and watered?

    Ugh i was kind of hoping it was just me that I couldn’t get the cute chunky leaves to grow anything but roots... so weird?!? No other succulent has ever done it for me. Thank you for helping I unfortunately have about 10 Lola leaves with huge root systems 😭😭and no babies and I guess there will never be any lol thank you for the help this is a great video guess I have to go behead my gorgeous Lola if I want to make any more of her🤣

      Me too...no babies just roots. I kept hoping ... but now what throw them all away? Mine has a ruffled edge not sure what the name of it is don’t think it’s Lola

    • @AngelsGrove
      @AngelsGrove  Před 5 lety

      I have seen so many people get them to propagate by leaf but I have never been successful either! I threw mine away and it hurt a little but I got 6 babies in 2 months and hadn’t gotten any from the leaves for 7 months so I figured it was time to kick them to the curb haha 😂

    This sounds weird but my Lola leafs never grew leafs u less they were upside down. Once the roots stung out I noticed baby leafs would only bud on the ones that were wrong side up. After seeing the new growth I’d flip it right side up and voila! This is the k my way I got them to work better from leaf propagation.

      Now that's an interesting observation. I have had some leaves that seem to do that... Hmmm...

    • @supersleuth3161
      @supersleuth3161 Před 4 lety

      that is weird! So just take a leaf off and put it upside down and I should have new little plants? I will have to try that! Thanks!

    Mine are almost dead by thirst after a whole week of drying out!
    Too tiny I guess, most of them..
    And summer right now might be one of the issues right now causing that!..
    I give mine about 2 days of absorbtion time before I take my smaller ok leaves to propagate!
    Depends o the size I believe!

  • @StaceyHerewegrowagain
    @StaceyHerewegrowagain Před 4 lety

    Echeverias are so amazing! I found out about the patented Echeverias and thought you couldn't propagate even for your own collection. From my understanding, you can only propagate from the seeds you collect because it's a natural process of the plants life. I didn't think we were allowed to propagate by offshoots or leaves. I'll have to do some more research

      A straight blade works much better to give you a cleaner line😉 thanks for sharing. Your succulents are always so pretty.

    • @AngelsGrove
      @AngelsGrove  Před 4 lety

      Oh gosh, I hope you are wrong hahaha 😬😬 I only for sure know of one plant that I own that had a patent. Most of my succulents didn’t come with tags or labels of any kind so I guess I have no clue😳 I will need to look into this more too, thanks for the heads up

    I live in Florida was watching this I have a Lola cut off and it was stretched and I cut it off and did like in as callous but I just put it down in some dry so I'm scared to water it because every time I water right at the base on a water I don't water the whole thing and get the whole all the soil wet I just squirt it down at the bottom and try to do that every day until it starts growing Roots this little guy on it is still wobbling but anyway talking about propagating I have had such good luck with this purple Lola imma show you some pictures of it because it's been so easy the easiest thing I've done and it was because he had some really fat healthy leaves off of a brand new plan I bought and they were the land up under the plant and head are already started to grow babies only watered the babies not the Levi didn't let the leaf get wet at all Lolly this all very dry and just take a squirt water little water squirter in a squirt a little bit of water every night on the very ends of them and the leaves stay healthy and they make them grow these pretty babies not all of mine turned out great but several of them did I mean they're nice and big and purple I pulled the Lisa wages into one and it kind of split in half so I'm still trying to save that one every time I water the whole plant they rot

    I LITERALLY have about 35 Lola’s with root systems like nobody’s business no joke! There HAS to be a way I can get baby’s to grow!! Has to be🤗, it’s gonna break my green 💚 seriously lol! I have ab 25+ baby Pink Moonstones from leaves, & 2 of them from cutting the 1 plant. I also have some Jade baby’s growing from leaf prop. Out of everything I have propagated this year, learned ab/ propagating in the last 4 years, etc. the Lola is 100% the hardest. Has anyone come up with some Lola plant prop. magic by chance? (Btw, I live in a 7b-8a zone - it’s almost like the rainforest here😄😊!) Thanks in Advance!

      Cherry DuLaney it’s a vertical planter that I just wasn’t hanging up, it’s to help hold them in when it is on the wall. To report the plants, I just pull them out or take a cutting

    Hi Angela. After the cut has dried and died in dry soil after how long do you give water and how much water do you give? Thanks

    • @AngelsGrove
      @AngelsGrove  Před 4 lety +1

      After the cut is dried you can give water. Usually takes 3 days to one week for the cut to dry. Then I water just the top of the soil about every other week.אידית יחיא

    • @AngelsGrove

      Crested is a rare genetic mutation where instead of the succulent growing in a rosette shape, it is deformed and may grow leaves in a line or curve, but not a rosette
