How to make Bored Ape NFT?

- Hi, today we're going to make a monkey from Bored Apes Yacht Club collection. This is completly random ape created from looking at a couple of references and this video is just for fun. I will go through process of creating this Ape NFT from sketching to coloring so you can get the idea of how these are made. But I made it in my own style to avoid any potential copyright strike.

Danm, delightfully! What resolution are you using? Width, height, resolution (pixel/inch)?
Thanks mate.. :) I think this is 2000x2000px but this is vector file so you can change resolution without loosing quality.. :)

Are the original bored apes not also made with the help of an algorithm? Bc there are also 10k different once? I guess that's part of the hype/bubble.
I also find the images not so interesting, but apparently there is a whole system where they can also get mutant apes and even dogs for their apes. So it's super interactive with rare features etc. I's like a made up diamond bubble i guess.

Edit: i've learned more about bored apes. Aparently the succes is also bc it's somewhat community based and evolves. Apparently they release merchandise exclusive to 'Ape owners' and ape holders also have commercial rights over their apes. When you have an ape you also join a club and they want to make a meta verse. Creazyy

Yeah they are made with the help of the program.. So you basically make few different hats, glasses etc. and then AI makes up to 10K combinations from all of these..
I'm not sure about the real purpose of the Apes since I didn't look too much into it but in the future NFTs might look a lot different than now, I think this is just a first phase. :)

You can use 'Autodesk Sketchbook' it's free and I use it :)
How do you draw on Autodesk? Do you use mouse or do you have pad and stylus thing?
I have it on my tablet and I draw with an S Pen :)

can you explain the entire colouring part?
What exatly do you want to know? I just make another layer below the outline and then different colors on top of them.. :)

I don't think you can sell it since the concept for these apes is owned by someone else.. But you can come up with your own NFT collection and try to sell it. :)
Is there any software for draw sketch by pc ?
Well it depends on what you use to draw.. If you have a tablet you can use Photoshop.. :) But you can also draw with mouse if you can..
What software can I use for MacBook pro? any free versions? I'm just trying to make nfts in my free time so I'm not going to go for a paid one until I feel I'm upto the mark.

@@Ghost-mm7hq You can download it on official Adobe website I think.. But it's free only for a month.. I don't think there are free apps for making this.. :)
What software did you use to make that?
I used Autodesk Sketchbook for sketching and Adobe illustrator to make it in digital format.. :)

Yeah you can do it in almost any app.. :)

@@brendanmedhurst108 Well for the sketching part you can do it in 'Autodesk Sketchbook'' which is the app that I'm using but also Procreate and many others.. And for the vector part, I use Adobe Illustrator but you can also use Corel Draw or Photoshop.. :)

Well you just have to upload it to OpenSea.. But keep in mind that you will have to pay a fee before you upload.. :)
