April 11th, 2014 sees the release of the long awaited new studio album 'Tearing Down The Walls' by Swedish rock band H.E.A.T via earMUSIC.
Once again the band decided the move into the infamous Bohus studio with Grammy award winning producer Tobias Lindell and created an explosive, fresh sound.
The first sneak peak of the album is the lead single 'A Shot At Redemption'. It confirms all that H.E.A.T showed before and more: a catchy hookline, a driven beat, the obligatory guitar solo and the raw, beyond comparison vocals of singer Erik Grönwall.
'A Shot At Redemption' will be released as part of a 4-track CD single, a 10" vinyl and download on February 14th, 2014 via earMUSIC. Both physical releases will surely become rare collector's items, being made available in strictly limited quantities.
Added on top to the 'A Shot At Redemption'-EP are the previously unreleased 'Under Your Skin', a goosebumps worthy acoustic version of H.E.A.T's 'In And Out Of Trouble' and a sensual cover of one of the greatest ballads, 'She's Like The Wind'.
Four songs to enjoy the energetic and explosive side of H.E.A.T and their great talent for ballads, to ease the wait for the very anticipated new studio album.

This band deserves to be all over the radio, but here in the US I haven't heard them once. If it were the 80s they'd have gone to #1. Thanks to the Swedes for helping keep rock and metal alive.
This boy is one of the best singers of this era. His voice is powerful and at the same is so soft. I hope he reach a big place in the rock music.

I'm old enough to remember a band from the UK, called Little Angels, one of those bands that just could have been a lot bigger than they were. This track reminds me a little of some of their stuff, and that is a massive compliment. This is polished, relevant and fresh. God I love Rock music. Five stars

Its absolutely criminal that this band isn't bigger than they are. Very talented musicians and song writers. I love Erik's voice and stage presence but I know they're still in good hands with Kenny being back in the band. 2 amazing front men with amazing voices. La musica de Heat es agradable, fresca, divertida y devuelve el animo. No son muy cañeros, pero si hacen temas muy pegadizos. Si estos tipos hubiesen nacido en los 80s serian ricos y venderian discos como rosquillas. Es una musica ideal para escuchar en el verano que estos dias comienza. Viva Heat y la madre que nos pario, a todos y cada uno de los humanos con buen gusto musical.
