From a Gillingham fan, massive respect to everyone at Bolton. Today wasn’t about the result. Today was a celebration of your club being saved. It was a strange one. I didn’t overly enjoy seeing that. The majority of the crowd were quite subdued in celebration (apart from those kids running down at the front). Hope your season picks up now the new owners are in. All the best to everyone at Bolton!

Great to see the passionate support despite the depressing match score. My team Birmingham managed to come back and beat Stoke after our academy product Jude Bellingham scored his first league goal for the first team. The Tilton end went absolutely mental, was a great Saturday pf football for me. Celebrating with strangers was a first for me and is helping me feel apart of the game. Only recently started going to games (also on my own) near the end of last season after moving back. Seeing the Bolton fans coming together shows what Football can give to people.

As a Gills fan in the Rainham End, all I can say is your young lads did you proud. Also the Bolton fans were absolutely superb including the ones we met after the game in the pub. Good luck for the rest of the season.

If I were a Bolton fan, yes I would be disappointed with the results but I'd still be happy and grateful for football ventures saving Bolton. I would still be incredibly proud of those youngsters who still played and wanted to give something to the fans to be happy about when there was nothing to be happy about. They weren't fazed by the state of the club t the time, they gave 110%.
when they get the ball the fans go crazy, shows the passion, great club.

As a pompey fan, I totally get what Bolton are going through atm, it takes a while to stabilise and start recruiting quality again, the 12 point penalty never helps but eventually a club the size of Bolton will be back competing in the championship. Tbh when you play us you should be safe from a 5-0 we can't score in a brothel as of late
