I've loved Astro for two years now and I always get amazed by their dancing abilities. They harbor some of the best dancers in the industry, especially Rocky and they're so aesthetically pleasing I'm always blown away. This is one of my favorite choreos of all time because jazz/tap elements aren't prevalent in a lot of bg choreos so it's always enjoyable to watch. I also haven't seen this dp in a while, so I knew this choreo did THAT, but I really did forget how sexy these transitions were. I'm really glad you enjoyed this and it makes my heart warm to see Astro being recognized for being the dance kings that they are.
They’re most definitely an outstanding group of dancers & this choreo was ART~! 😭👍

this particular video "baby dance practice by astro" was the reason why got into kpop. it was all accidental but i never regret it. the moment they started dancing 5 seconds of the intro i suddenly became a fan. i am actually kinda picky when it comes to performances (esp dance practices maybe bc i dance too) but not gonna lie, astro got me here. broke down the huge wall between me and kpop and introduced me like... "hey, this is what kpop is all about, lemme introduce and guide you.."
until i got to know them better. who they are on stage and off stage. i love everything about them. so i agree, they are one of the most amazing groups ever and i hope a lot of people would notice and love them. they are top tier vocalists, rappers, dancers and visuals! plus, they are actors too. talking about talent, i hope they would be on the list of groups people should stan 💜
about the choreographer, his name is kwon jaesung. he has been choreographing astro's title tracks since this "baby" era :) he sometimes create choreographies along side w astro's dance line (rocky, moonbin & jinjin) some are title tracks, some are b sides. :)

Astro are SO clean. And honestly, I think it can be a lot harder in some ways to do a 'cute' or at least bright choreo in a way that is just as cool and eye-catching as something more hard-hitting. They are so light! But so...the only word is *clean*. I love it. It's why their choreo for Breathless is still my favorite.
(If you haven't checked them out before, I highly recommend ONF--their choreo is FreeMind composed, and they usually have a lot of interpretive sections and good formations. Not VIXX-level in interpretiveness, but omg 'ON/OFF' is SUCH a fun song and the choreo suits it perfectly. Also Onlyoneof--their music isn't quite my thing, but I'm obsessed with their choreo. It had both interesting formations and interesting moves, when I feel like most groups only get one or another. The choreo for 'sage' is a good starting point!)
No ones mentioned ‘Breathless’ before. I’ll be on the lookout for it! A small few have mentioned your recommendations & I believe I’ve got one or two of their pieces bookmarked. Will eventually make my way down to them 😊👍

In Moonbin's live, when he made a cover of WANNABE, by the way you should see that cover, fans kept asking for him to dance blueflame, but he said he should've dance it together with the other members and fans should come to their concert if they want it so badly..hahaha..that's just his way of flirting with the fans...but yeah, we, AROHA, are also dying to see moonbin dance blueflame so let's wait patiently🥰🥰🥰

They play rock-paper-scissors on stage everytime they perform Baby. And yeah, all Aroha want the OT6 Blue Flame performance w Moonbin. Baby is my fav ASTRO dance & this was the first ASTRO vid I ever watched. I was amazed by the synchronization, & still love this dance so much. And MJ is my bias as well.
We are hoping to get it soon, & they are coming back in May, so they might perform Blue Flame as OT6, for the first time, at their new album showcase. I'd recommend you watch their dance practice of Should've Held On(Again).
If you do wanna watch the dance practices of Moonwalk & With You, they actually put it into a longer vlog type vid, so you can either watch the whole 22min vid or the individual dance practice of each that ppl have put into smaller vids. Both dances were choreographed by Rocky, he usually choreographs their bside tracks & helps make choreo for title tracks as well, tho they have all started helping w that.

Thank you so much for reacting to my boys again and with Baby!!! I was expecting it because it's one of my favourite choreos ever! I don't know much at all about dancing but it's just so fun to watch and whenever I hear the song I can picture them doing the movements and all! And to answer your question, yes! they do those little funny touches in every performance, sometimes they slightly change it lol !
Ah, also, just a bit of an observation, it was kinda hard to listen to you while you were watching the video, i think it was as if the microphone was a bit covered? just saying this because i love to hear those little observations that you make as a dancer! anyways, sorry for the long ass comment, thank you again and please support our boys this May 4th for their comeback!!
