Hi lovely friends! In this episode of @Live and Give 4X4 you will see the awesome 4x4 adventure truck from the tech CZcamsrs @Everlanders We filmed a full tour showing all the nice details of this Ford F-550 self-build expedition vehicle. Jason created this DIY Overland Camper including a Mini Split Aircon, an expandable solar system, and high-pressure water tanks in order to be off-grid and environmentally friendly as much as possible! Thanks a lot to Jason and Kara for the nice time we had so far meeting up between Alaska and Southern Mexico. Overlanders living the Vanlife! Enough said... enjoy the video!

Very nice build Jason. If you do not have kids already pls get busy. The world needs more guys like you....lol. That image recognition software was a slick touch. I imagine you will have a few commercial builders reaching out to you soon if not already. Its one thing to build all this, but getting it all working as smoothly as you have is impressive.

That is some seriously impressive work and craftsmanship. Jason seems sensible, practical, and above all extremely knowledgeable. This is crazy. Very very impressive. It would take me a long long time and a lot of failed attempts to build what he has.

This video was so inspirational and extremely helpful. I’m a mechanical engineering graduate student working on something similar to this on my flatbed Tacoma! I want to build everything myself just like Jason. I’m in the solidworks phase now! I’m going to borrow a few of these ideas ESPECIALLY the extending solar panels!

Wow!!, our "retirement condo" will not be this amazing but do able for us.. !! Thank you for many ideas that we can transfer to our condo design!! Currently, we live in a converted 32' cargo trailer that is also off grid capable!! Nice!! We pull our home with a 2018 Ford F350. Then will build the condo on the flatbed when it is time!!!! Enjoyed the tour!!

I really like the brake can idea for holding the box rigid, that’s the same concept we use for holding the chains tight on the log trucks around here.

I remember watching a much earlier tour of this truck. I think the water solution is a great idea. Stainless steel and they don't grow furry creatures like my camper and I'm in the process of removing the water tank to inspect and clean it as we speak. Fun wow. I still have to find the water leak.
Good luck finding the leak … it can be a pain, but it is part of overlanding …

So I want to build an overland truck camper but after watching Jason's videos I feel like even if I was in a million dollar motor coach it would just be a van down by the river. The detail and thought out into this build is like NASA space camper level insane. I just want the ac and that water heater really though. So smart m. So I credibly unbelievably smart. Dude. If you could spend some time in a time machine we might actually get there. ;)
