Married women are often living the most depressing lives and men have the nerve to shame single women knowing a lot of men aren't invested in being husbands. They think simply paying a bill not even all the bills makes them a husband but not talking, helping with the kids.

My situation with my ex-husband turned physical one night, and even though I already had been planning to leave, I put it into overdrive. I had my son go and live with my parents, and I moved out when my ex-husband was at work. I filed DV charges once I moved out, waited for the year separation for the state I live in, and filed for divorce. I look at all of us who left abusers as survivors, not victims.

She’s 💯 right about his jealousy; I witnessed it. I worked in a boutique store in L.A. and her and Iman came into the store; this was maybe 7 years ago. My coworkers and I was extremely excited to see her, Iman sad a few things to her like I can get another woman. He was so jealous of the attention she was receiving it was awkward. He gives narcissistic vibes for sure. My ex bf was a narcissist so I definitely know the signs; as a victim it’s embarrassing at first and ability to be delusional; Teyana probably wasn’t mentally ready to expose her toxic relationship when the news first broke. Lets give her some slack. I’m still healing from my narcissistic abuse and it’s been almost 3 years since I left him. Not easy at all; narcissistic abuse is extremely severe it messes with your mental and emotional intelligence.

As a younger woman I didn’t understand when my mom told me that one of my boyfriends was jealous of me. I just couldn’t fathom my partner being jealous of me in any way bc if I’m doing well, we’re doing well. Now that I’m older I’ve experienced that with other partners and I see what she meant. Thankfully, I saw the signs early on and was able to walk away from those men right away. Most of the time they don’t show that side until they have you hooked. I was lucky that my partners were baby narcissists and not able to hide it long enough lol They Ana is a beautiful person, inside and out. She will be fine and he will miss what he lost. My mother also told me that it doesn’t matter if you ever see that they regret losing you. You know what you have to offer and that’s enough. As far as the narcissistic abuse I knew that was going to be an issue. Teyana Taylor is extremely creative to the 10th power. I saw Iman trying to emulate her creativity but it just wasn't hitting. He went to school for the arts and I think that's his main love but Teyana Taylor is just that artist.
Teyana has a strong personality. She is also incredibly talented--more talented than so many people in the industry. She can hang with the best of them. If the industry was based on talent alone, Teyana would be a lot further. Her talent almost scares me because she is so confident and can do EVERYTHING and she doesn't back down. That can be intimidating for most people, let alone a man. I remember watching Teyana being linked with celebs many years ago but no serious relationship came of it. I think her personality seemed a bit too much for alot of the men she wanted. I was surprised when I saw her with Iman many years later. This woman with money or not, is just like many of us. We want to keep the relationship in tact even though its not worth it. She is very beautiful, she will have a long line of money waiting for her. The key now is to get some therapy in order to have a healthier relationship in the near future. I always think people move on too quickly & repeat mistakes. After 2 abusive relationships back to back . I took a break, did lots of therapy & have been in a healthy relationship ever since. As a licensed clinincal mental health therapist the percentage of individuals being diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder is low. There are alot of various diagnosis in the DSM-5 that present similar traits as NPD.
I have to respectfully disagree. Dr. Romani who is the world leading expert on narcissism states that number is much higher. The problem comes down to the number of people who are able to be diagnosed . People with NPD aren’t likely to seek help bc of their ego. So numbers will be lower. Also most psychologists aren’t experts at NPD as it isn’t taught or stressed as much in the curriculum, so it’s often misdiagnosed for other mental illnesses (depression etc). The number is much higher trust and believe.

Listen, I am a licensed professional counselor and I do know that narcissists don’t often come into therapy for services for narcissism and if ever involved for anything else, they would likely avoid it. I know exactly how it can be missed whether Dr. Ramani (love her) or us other clinicians provide insight. If they don’t get service they can go undiagnosed it narcissism isn’t that easy to diagnose how they make it online. It’s a catchy term on social media.
Unpopular opinion: I feel like there’s more to the story beyond the documents, and I feel like Tisa kind of alluded to that in the video. I just think that their dynamic was a little bit weird and that they force this happy family. Teyana really worked hard to get to this level of recognition and fame, and being blackballed, and not getting the shot that she deserved in her career and life presented itself in her relationship. I think that made her acceptable to this kind of dynamic with her husband. The Instagram post, she was doing so much and I don’t understand why and that’s just weird to me. I hope that she explains what she was going through. I’m sure she’ll be interviewed later on and she may speak her whole truth.

As far as the narcissistic abuse I knew that was going to be an issue. Teyana Taylor is extremely creative to the 10th power. I saw Iman trying to emulate her creativity but it just wasn't hitting. As a licensed clinincal mental health therapist the percentage of individuals being diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder is low. There are alot of various diagnosis in the DSM-5 that present similar traits as NPD.
I have to respectfully disagree. Dr. Romani who is the world leading expert on narcissism states that number is much higher. The problem comes down to the number of people who are able to be diagnosed . People with NPD aren’t likely to seek help bc of their ego. So numbers will be lower. Also most psychologists aren’t experts at NPD as it isn’t taught or stressed as much in the curriculum, so it’s often misdiagnosed for other mental illnesses (depression etc). The number is much higher trust and believe.

Listen, I am a licensed professional counselor and I do know that narcissists don’t often come into therapy for services for narcissism and if ever involved for anything else, they would likely avoid it. I know exactly how it can be missed whether Dr. Ramani (love her) or us other clinicians provide insight. If they don’t get service they can go undiagnosed it narcissism isn’t that easy to diagnose how they make it online. It’s a catchy term on social media.
Unpopular opinion: I feel like there’s more to the story beyond the documents, and I feel like Tisa kind of alluded to that in the video. I just think that their dynamic was a little bit weird and that they force this happy family. Teyana really worked hard to get to this level of recognition and fame, and being blackballed, and not getting the shot that she deserved in her career and life presented itself in her relationship. I think that made her acceptable to this kind of dynamic with her husband. The Instagram post, she was doing so much and I don’t understand why and that’s just weird to me. I hope that she explains what she was going through. I’m sure she’ll be interviewed later on and she may speak her whole truth.
