love that begining with that massive wall of sound and that melody
Slift keep getting better and better this is insane
Slift are like imagining what the phrase "over the top" might mean and then multiplying that by 10 000 000. They are so over the top the loop back from parody and are simply awesome. I love this.
I was just showing a friend Ummon yesterday, hell yeah SLIFT
its MASSIVE!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
best one of the new released songs. cant wait to here the record in full
Sooooo good. I was in awe listening to this performance that sunny Friday afternoon.
Absolutely phenomenal. Cannot wait for the new record and to see Slift live again. Immense!
live footage from KEXP and others is like the only reason I am able to keep an upright mindset in times where every news show resembles a doomsday anouncement. thank you!
YESYESYES!!! 3 new SLIFT performances!!!
this is amazing!!! best live band ever
Mighty three-piece band!
That bass is brutal... Beautiful! 🤟
Slift - Nimh (Live on KEXP) 1313pm 2.11.23 is that just a generic thing folk impart - that bass is heavy, maaaaaan...only decent bass line i ever heard was shitbeard by cows. and i aint givin' up on cows, man... go listen to that track... it's neat.
NORTH AMERICA TOUR, SOOOOOON, PLEASE!!!!❤
YES
These guys need a Woodstock🤘😎🔥
Excellent
best rock band playing rn
Only two weeks now til their concert in Gothenburg. Boy, have I waited.
Wow, this is absolutely monstrous!
I just came from the official video and although the difference is rather subtle I like this live sound a lot better.
Drummer without his favorite broken ride? on a serious note, those guys are great
Killers
I really really really really really love this song.......... and I don't even know what they're saying 90% of the time.
If you did, you probably couldn't deal with it. The whole story of this album is, lack of better term, FAAAAR OUT THEEEEEEERE! 😮 ❤
@@plumbusmanI'll deal and I think I get it without getting it.
@@CSharpListenSharper good! Keep on rocking!
Google
Omgomgomg slift!!!
Just.....YES!!!
This is sick
2 words.... FUCK YEA!
One of the best doing it.
yes
Vive les Pyrénées
C'est comme le cassoulet, lourd et subtil à la fois, bravo les gars!
ça me donne faim
This band is like if rush made psychedelic rock.
The drummer got even better since their last KEXP session. Reminds me of Robert Wyatt
This is so nasty ❤
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
This just rears back and punches you in the face.
Absolutely nasty
:)
There are only two things I'm disappointed about with their return to KEXP. Firstly, the Drummer still isn't playing a white SG. Second, the Guitarist's Sideburns. Bring It Back. 😔
Best comment. They need to get their act together
That was not awesome, but much stronger! Thank you very very much!
We don't deserve Slift
This sounds a bit like Osee´s Sticky Hulks kexp version
Last song had potential, but they just couldn't find a coherent riff for it. All I've heard on the new album is lackluster wall to wall sound incoherent and boring. I am so disappointed, and it took forever to come out with this new material. Should have kept working on it. Not giving up on them but, ...
completely disagree. Their musicianship has improved across the board, they're playing with more interesting time signatures. It's less of the straightforward "rock" time signatures of previous albums which may make it seem "incoherent" for some, but to my ear it's a much refined collection of songs with much better production thanks to Sub-Pop and better musicianship as the boys are just getting better at their craft...growing as musicians. Their best album to date
killer killer band..................... better live than on wax, IMHO.............
