for me the Later cast is funnier . ..such a shame bbc multicultural policy meant they scrapped this show . ..one of the Last few 'british' tv comedies to be made . .. .!
Yeah it lost a lot of its comedic value when Johnnie left they tried to hard after that. I love the episode where Johnny is ill and he asks Gaz to sing him to sleep (tweenies and the turtles 😂) I always like the bit where they finish the tweenies song and Johnny imitates the ah bit at the end hahaha, it just seemed natural comedy.
@@ms.rstake_1211 Its past its sell by date now though, the actors are far to old and past being believable as younguns, it comes of cringe when a mid 40s bloke tries to be like what he was in his early to mid 20s, it doesn't work esp the sex jokes, it comes across as creepy uncle rather than jack the lad.
Killing of Bev Callard/Flo was wrong and she should of been used more, the last couple of season felt like a different show little britain characters thrown into a well established show and it just didnt work

I think the show went on too long after Johnny died off screen was the death knell for the show.

Bev Callard had left Coronation Street around this time (2011-13), would have been nice to see Flo again if she wasn’t killed off.
