My favorite brand.. reminds me of the days of the old Orion red Amp. Maybe it was the 1000 watt HTC or something like that, the red one. It was stable down to about 1/2 an ohm? Or 1 ohm? I think. Just remember putting it on 3-15” orions in the same series in a little Mazda truck. In a box that was 3’x4’ and I had to cut 11” holes through the body into the cab then run 10” storm drain pipes and gaskets that were made to go through a concrete wall. It closed in the gap with a little Vaseline they went through. Fiberglassed the exterior of 1” mdf and then made a bed cover out of treated wood and topped it with some vinyl made for soft top cars. I ain’t saying it was near as good as the technology used today but we were just hearing the noise about internet so we were doing the mad scientist thing. But we learned a lot I nicknamed the box design Fred because it reminded me of Fred Flintstone and the pipes were Barney piping. Y’all doing great work guys

When I was 19, I had 2 competition series JL audio speakers in my Mazda 626. You could hear me coming from like 2 blocks away. I also had replaced all my internal speakers with infinity speakers and had a crossover separation
You’ve got to have separation with the frequencies or you’ll be having your subwoofers trying to Re-create highs and mids and it’s all bad

@@theegreatest9322No, they were W4 12 subs (there was a more expensive W6 version if I remember right) and I bought the speakers and box from a local (been out of business now 25 years) stereo shop. The box was huge! The speakers were at a 45° angle facing up behind a plexiglass window. And 2 huge ports on the side. Remember this was like 1993. I had a Kenwood CD deck where the face came off, and a separate equalizer.

Aint nothing like Orion! I embarrassed brothers with a t 600 hot setup( best buy) on some JL audio 12w5's dual 8 ohm in an oversized enclosure

@SiahFiyah Did you mean *Isobaric* when you put a pair(s) of subs face to face, one will be wired out of phase with the other as they work in push-pull configuration with each back wave audible.........this design can produce some serious BASS requiring little power to obtain serious results even with trash Drivers. Cons Enclosure is large and cumbersome, not practical for most people...........If you know how to build an enclosure, applying physics understanding the science involved, the results can be mind blowing. I have a rando 10" sub in a loaded Horn box totaling Vas= 4ft³ cubic feet. Thing is HUGE ports ate tuned front is 30hz back is 20HZ on 100w sony plate amp. And that thing overpowers my 12" retail vented encloser on a 500w Crown amp. Box matters build the to match the speak and available power amp specs.
