it would be great if you showed the blind in action at the begining of the YT clip and then again at the end showing all the inner workings.

How is this shade mounted to the window? How does the shade stay in place? You give no information on this.

Thank you, it's pretty clear, however, since it doesn't need to be attached to a board, can the pulley and screw eyes be attached directly to the window sill (underneath)?

Is there any way to hide the back workings of this shade? I know some apt. complexes want all material facing the window to be white, and I don't like that the workings show to the outside. Thanks!

OK I’m confused! Where do you attach the cord lock hardware? You show them both at the top but if the top comes down and you normally would have it attached to the board at the top I don’t see where the cord lock hardware attaches

I am a bit confused on the design. When tying the lift cord at the top to lower the shade wouldn't you see the cords when it was lowered. I guess I would need to see you actually thread it and how it works to fully understand.

shawn0817 I agree! Thank you for your feedback. I've created a new video that explains and shows everything. Go here => czcams.com/video/cGfx5R3VmHE/video.html

You really should have shown or drawn a separate diagram showing how the cords are to be positioned. I'm confused. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Your video was not helpful at all.

Adeline Eustace You are absolutely right! I've created a new video that shows you clear diagrams on exactly how the installation will look. Go here => czcams.com/video/cGfx5R3VmHE/video.html

Thank you for trying to show how to make these top down bottom shade. It would be much easier to follow if you demonstrated how to make one step by step--doing in video--rather than pictures and diagrams. Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the explanation. So very helpful. But please stop using the word 'simply'. If it were that simple, we wouldn't need tutorials like yours which we obviously dearly need. Thanks again.
