In this episode of Style Selected, we take this uninspiring grey and concrete condo patio and turn it into a dreamy urban oasis of Angela's dreams! We built a patio bar table complimented with two relaxing seating areas all finished with a touch of tropical chill. The balcony really came together with furniture pieces from Article. turned out looking like one of those patio restaurants with over priced food and small portions and I LOVE IT

I'm pretty sure that everything except the blankets has outdoor appropriate fabrics that aren't affected by moisture. Also that stain helps make the bar water resistant. She might have to wash some dishes though.
ya i think people missed the part where it said the product used is rain resistant after 4 hours. The furniture is all patio , so made to be rained on, as for the wall hangings, they were canvas, so also made for outdoor use. So other than the blankets, everything should be good to go, and frankly i have taken blankets out onto my patio and managed to remember to bring them back in before it rains :)

The chairs at the bar are way to low, to sit at the bar. Barstools would be better. And what happened to the light carpet at the next window-cleaning-day?
Kathleen B. Yes thank you for posting about the chairs. I really love the idea and love how they made the bar but now you cant ‘chill and enjoy the view’ because the chairs are so low
You'd just buy 4 white bar stools, I guess. The chairs were far too low. I see no one sat on them to try them out. Wonder why? LOL
Thick cushions would help? But I think they need to lower the bar, which would be cheaper than buying all new chairs

The par wood in my openion should be wood dark.. as every thing is light beigy coloured

Jenna Williams Absolutely. For a bar you need higher chairs, not these normal ones.
I believe it was explained about the bar height, but that was my first thought, too.

This is what I've been waiting for! One note tho. The Thumbnail of the video shows the finish design so the excitement of whose design was picked is not that exciting anymore. Lol. Cant wait for another episode!

I was thinking more of a peel off wall paper for the windows dividing the neighbors patio because the cloth would get dirty and weird being out
its not cloth, it was canvas... ie what awnings are made of. And they live outdoors their whole lives! ;) ha ha ha ha
Love the design, but I think higher chairs would suit the bar better..
Hi Ladies! Just a tip: if you’re building wood furniture that will be outside, you need to use pressure treated pine or cedar. Those untreated boards will only last a few years in Canadian seasons. At the very least you need to seal the heck out of them. xoxo~ much love from Minnesota

I really liked it, but it was a bit too white for my taste. Would have loved a bit more brown and teal tones, for example when you recolored the plant pots or the two lounge chairs.

I just saved this video and made a new category on my save list of "4. FAVORITES to MAKE!!!" I really love the tall patio bar table. I will be setting up my 2 car garage this coming spring into a workshop and this will be one of my first projects for our backyard patio.

The painted fabric thingies aren’t my thing, I would replace them with fabric with a tropical motif maybe...but otherwise I love it.

...am I the only one that thought their reaction to the window washer was really rude? Like, he's literally just trying to do his job same as you, and there's no way he can't drop water, and their reaction to it was really off-putting to me as a viewer. I get it, it's inconvenient for you because you're also trying to work, but you have the ability to pause what you're doing and come back to it, whereas he doesn't really have that luxury. Because really, "that's so rude actually" and clapping at him and saying "can you not?" was really uncalled for. He is not doing it on purpose.

oh yikes tbh I love the sorry girls but imo the best way to get a feel for a person's true nature is by how they treat workers, because they can get away with being rude to them if they're really a rude person.

Love the look, the chairs are alittle too short, maybe stools but the bar is amazing. It sucks that the window washer (bless him for doing that dangerous job) will be splashing water over everything every week or so.
