  • This is the start of my vlogs as I battle through what I expect to be diagnosed as FND. I’ll be sharing the good the bad and the ugly weekly experiences. As well as separate videos on dealing with the depression, anxiety that derives from my symptoms. What to expect from MRI, lumbar puncture and other procedures.

I have been diagnosed with FND after numerous head injuries. Medications I have been given didn't help. I now follow Dr Ray Peat and am now gradually regaining health. Any questions, do ask. Good luck in your healing journey 😊

There are over 600 neurological disorders, some of them rare, some of them very difficult to diagnose. If you accept a diagnosis of FND there will be no further investigations. Every symptom you have from then on will be put down to FND. FND diagnosis is like a FB diagnosis, once you are given it you are abandoned by your doctor and neurologist. Its not like MS and it is not an auto immune disorder. FND basically means they don't know what it is and this diagnosis is being handed out like smarties.
You need to see a rheumatologist who can test you for rare or common auto-immune disorders. You need to insist they keep testing you because if you accept this diagnosis and you really do have something else, you could progressively get worse and never get a correct diagnosis.
