The mental toll of playing by the “rules’ not pursuing my passion but law, maintaining a 3.7 gpa etc. Then learning we don’t live in a meritocracy. The mental toll of applying for jobs wherein I would’ve been more qualified than my supervisor….I wanted to tattoo my face to stop going through the draining game and mental toll.
