    Great ideas and tutorial!! Love this!! Wowww!! I feel like when I’ve tried this, the 1st stamp transferred back to the plate? I’ll keep playing!

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  Před 2 lety +1

      Some of the design that was first picked up will transfer to the plate, but the idea is that the design that is being stamped over with the solid design will adhere to the parts that you plan to stamp back onto the nail. The parts that stamped onto the plate become not useful to your design. Hope this makes sense.

    • @donnaharvill8210
      @donnaharvill8210 Před 2 lety

      If you aren't quick enough, try putting a thin top coat on your nail so it will be just a little tacky when you go to transfer your total design! The reason you have to be so quick at everything is because polish now days dries so much quicker! Even from when I first started stamping nail polish 💅🏻 has changed in so many ways

    Is it easier to stamp nails before as you did here, or after you put them on?

  • @gypsydonovan
    @gypsydonovan Před 2 lety +1

    The What's up nails Instagram challenge next week is "double processed stamping". I had no idea what that meant so I watched a few videos. Most were not clear. They'd start with "this is different from double stamping" & I'd reach the end without seeing the difference.
    I finally found one that cleared everything up for me (lacquer lockdown) and, thinking myself creative, decided to try a moon full of stars.
    Then, I spot a Maniology video on double processed stamping. I wish I'd started here! It's clear and she USING THE SAME PLATES I had in mind! I guess I'm not so creative. Or at least not so original 🤣.
    The one thing I'm not sure about : I don't like the French. It's cute but it's exactly what you'd get double stamping. I've done many double stamped French manis. If I'm using a new or unique technique, I want it to show. I love it when people ask how I did something.
    So, the shapes are great because it would be extremely difficult to get that another way. They stand out & make me wonder how it was done.
    If I get used to this, I can see it being a time saver on unusual French Tips, but it's still going to look like it was just double stamped.
    I've never been a blob fan, but this gives me something to do with them. I'm excited to try it!
    I'll probably give it a shot before Friday. And, I'm someone who posts all the nail fails along with the successes so who knows what the end result will be. If interested, it's @naturalnailsseattle on Instagram

      So sorry to hear about that, we're here to help! 💕 Please email us at support@maniology.com with a video showing us how you are currently stamping so we can troubleshoot for you. 🤗 A trick we can share with you now is to adjust your scraping angle to be flatter, almost parallel to the plate. 💅

  • @SnugglesFairie

    I have tried this off and on multiple times for the past few months. I have tried going fast and going slow. Each time I run into the same issue. The stamp image #1 - the first image picked up will not stay on the stamper. When I go to pick up the second image, the whole thing transfers off the stamper and onto the nail stamping plate. The stamper is always left empty and both images are stuck together on the nail plate.
    What am i doing wrong?

    • @Maniology
      @Maniology  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Rachel, we would love to help you troubleshoot. The best way for us to help is if you can send us a video showing us how you are currently stamping. You can DM us or email us at support@maniology.com so we can better assist you with how you can improve your stamping game. Oftentimes, it just takes a slight tweak in technique before everything falls into place!

      Hi! For double stamping, you may opt not to use a sticky base coat. Just make sure to work swiftly when picking up the second image so it adheres to your nails. 😉
