but, what followed was a Humiliating 4-0 whitewash.
& so came the first test of the test series
in came ganguly back into the side
And so started the historic 1st test
A test in which shreeshant scrapped 8 wickets
A test that India won
marking it's first test win on south african soil
and the famous
Andre nell Shreeshant dance sledge.

I still remember .. I was sitting in a hair saloon waiting for my turn.. Barely anyone else in that shop was watching the match .. Andre Nel was continuously sledging indian cricketers .. And situation went a bit serious on field.. commentators was really charged up so everyone started watching the television to see what happened.. At the same time Andre Nel came to Srisanth and in very next ball Srisanth hit the ball out of the park .. The scene inside that saloon was unforgettable.. I was 17-18YO at that time and dont remember anything else about that match and even the series but i do remember that shot

I always felt hes a great bowler while going back to his run up he use to motivate himself that was always a great scene to watch . The amount of aggression required by bowler s. Sreesanth has all that. The bowl he bowled to jaque kallis was legendary. His spell against australia in WC T20 semi final was brilliant . Dont know why he got in the sonething like match fixing. The guy had all the elements of being the leader of pace battery in india
He was not part of matching fixing. He was trapped and now court gave him clean chit.
If the BCCI and Indian team mates would have supported him, he could have been a good resource. Indian team lost a good bowler. It’s hard to find a aggressive and destructive bowler like him.

Like t20 world cup, in earlier matches he was just giving away to many runs, but with ausiii everyone was consuming runs then again shree was on fire. And i read someones comment who mentioned him to be in indian team squad these days. If it would have been possible then we might have crushed in red ball cricket as siraj is doing with to much agression along with kohli 💕
