Great job Marcelo. I love Jasmine, in Hawaii it is called Pikake and to me it defines how it smells there. I just found a bottle of Ashore for a phenomenal price and am taking the Spartan leap of faith. Will let you know what I think of it.👍👍

Marcelo - you need to try the new Casamoratti one called (something) Pitti - white bottle, Sergio MoMo made it for his wife - or that’s what the wonderful
Xerjoff SA in Milan Boutique told me. It is a beautiful tuberose with a hint of rum and coconut. It’s really pretty! I bought a bottle of it last week during Escence and the sample sprays she placed in my wrist lasted all day (8+ hours) even while traveling on the train to Rome with all the people and all those smells. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist all day! It’s a fresh white tuberose - not indolic or when they’ve gone yellow. And the coconut is lovely, not cheap sunscreen.
This sounds amazing! What a combination💛🤍💫 Will have to check this out once it lands in Australia

I bought this one and the Cannes’ 40 Noueds (or however you spell it) last week in Milan while at Escence. I passed on Elle Anniversary (weak and not exciting fragrance but beautiful bottle) and the new Alexandra II Anniversary (too animalic for me).
Many congratulations on *70.000* ! (~ten times as much as when I started watching)🥳
Wow a couple of my favorites in this video!
Like *Decas* , I wouldn't have thought I'd like a tuberose fragrance because of the femininity, but Decas is unisex and to my nose even leaning a bit more masculine,
and *Crystal Saffron* , it is sharp for sure, also clean, sometimes I really love this fragrance but sometimes it feels too heavy or overwelming to spray.
*Dunas de un Cuerpo* is also a great oud, I think this will be my first animalic / dirty oud, compared to Sahraa, Sacre e Profano and Maison Kurkdjians ouds.

I love your break up on all the fragrances that you listed and yes totally agree with Crystal Saffron....I've discovered that the key is to not overspray. So whatever number of sprays that you like doing, just do one less. This fragrance is potent!
And yes, out of the ones you listed; Dunas is the winner in my books💥

Great video Marcelo! Starting off with a bang ashore is FABULOUS. My mother usually doesn’t like my fragrances but she loves white florals and we tested it in the mall and she loved it!
Hope all is all good down under😂 as I finally pulled the trigger on a bottle of creed Santal only to be sent a “questionable” bottle.
Currently looking for something for spring and summer and going through my notes😂😂

Believe me or not, i had a dream yesterday that i am buying interlude black iris 😂😂😂
In my recent experience regarding Jasmin,I have purchased 7ml travel spray of Perris Monte Carlos Jasmin de Pays and oh my gosh, it was a disaster.. literally Human S..t in a bottle..the most awful smell ever. I can't understand how a beautiful parfume house like that thought let's make a fragrance that's smell so unpleasant.. but longevity and projection was remarkable so,can't complain about the performance :-)

Having been a hardcore Amouage fan I'm almost sad that I've been sleeping on such a quality house that is Xerjoff.

Love hearing you talk about fragrances you love. Ashore sounds similar to Tony Iommi in that the notes don’t make any sense in my mind haha, but I’m sure it smells beautiful and is blended to perfection. I’m very curious.

I like Black Iris over Interlude because of the smoother opening, however,, I never got a bottle because I already have Interlude & the frags were to similar to make owning both worth it to me. B.I. does smell a little more classy, so it may be better for wearing with a suit. Did I just talk myself into buying a bottle of Black Iris? Damn it 😑
Black Iris is very similar, but as you say, much more wearable because of the smoothed out opening. Definitely a good suit scent! In fact, it's bordering on easy reach 🫠

You say not to start with Amouage Interlude but that’s what I started with but that got me into niche. It might of been because I never liked normal fragrances 😂 I used hold my nose when I went through fragrance departments until I discovered niche.
You're a better person than me Henry! I nearly died😵💫 It was so potent! Plus I didn't understand what was going on! Where's the sweet inviting citrus note!!
But now, oh mamma! What an incredible composition; so regal, majestic and powerful....glorious

I "missed" Decas in your last Xerjoff lineup but it's featured here, so no complaints...! Underrated for sure. Separately, good to know there's a Greek facet to Crystal Saffron--got to sample it now! Great reviews, as ever, Marcelo!

I've tried encens suave from Matiere Premiere, and it's a beauty, I've got to get my nose on Crystal Saffron!
Incidentally, I just got a decant of Vento Nel Vento from Bois 1920; it's such a beautiful, unique Amber, with a benzoin and licorice twist. Have you had the chance to smell it in your time in the Bois 1920 shop?

🎉over 71K🎉 YASSSSSSSS👏🏻🙋🏻♀️. My goodness, had to laugh with Matiere and 3 spray Kev😂🤣. With all of his bully buster frags,;he definitely underestimated the power. Not a Tuberose fan I figured, now not 100% sure but it may be what I call “burns my nose “. I have a Perris sample set and I inhaled the Tuberose was the only ick one for me , it stung. I’ll keep trying but I feel that and Lily of the Valley are not my faves. Great Maté as always 😊🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺❤️

I sampled the ashore before. Absolutely loved the opening, but wasn't sure about the dry down. I also felt it was a bit weak. I'll try it again in the future. My initial perfume love was all about jasmine notes, many childhood memories. So it remains one of my favourite notes.

Interlude is too strong for me. I hope black Iris is toned down. Decas is vibe! Love it.
Black iris is all the good scent profile things of og interlude, without the heaviness and overwhelming of it. I am a big fan of the og but it is not safe for work, church, etc if it's conservative environment. Black iris is work safe. I don't mind getting a bottle of black iris as i find them different enough to have both.

Great to hear from you @ancientaqua_ and yes I did the same thing as you. It was ok. I did try it on skin but it didn't perform as well as I wanted it.
I've come to the conclusion that I have graduated. Where I always saw my self as an Oud 'Veteran'.....based on some of my recent Oud loves and the responses I get from people around me, I'm officially a '5 Star General'🎖️
So it could be that Aqua Oud would be perfect for someone new to Oud....but for me, it didn't have enough punch.
I have given the sample box to one of my editor to test over the weekend and will report back😎

But yeah, I’m happy I didn’t buy the sample kit (even though I’d love to check the brand out someday) because my wallet is a bit light atm😕
