- In today’s video, we are tackling a very iconic anime among the Yu-Gi-Oh! Fandom, Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!. Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! was the eighth series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! timeline. Now this season is on its last legs right now as we are on the final arc. And there are still a lot of questions that still need to be answered. I will say this season especially the last arc tugged at my heart strings and I questioned the sanity of the writers with why they are trying to make the viewers cry.

If you don’t like that characters get brought back to life in Yugioh. Yeah apparently that’s why the writers have decided to at least for now keep certain characters dead for good. I’m not sure how that will last but no solution has been found right now to bring them back.

It is easier to remember their deck instead of their names
Yuuhi--Jointech (primarily machine monsters)
Yuamu--Dragon Type user
Yuudias--Primarily Light Galaxy type user
Zwijo--Dark Galaxy type user (Voidvelgr)
Manya--Aqua Deck centered around Dian Keto
Bochi (the dog)--Dog Monsters (Beast Warrior?)
Manabu-- FIRE Pyro, Thunder, and Aqua deck
Nyandestar (the cat) -- cat /cat girl monsters (Beast/Beast Warrior?)
Kirishima (I forgot his name)-- LIGHT Fairy monsters (I am not sure)
I am not sure the type of Mitsuko's deck, but it have a lot of "three" words and puns in the cards
I didn't include Chupataro as his deck differs from his favorite monster that is the sheep girl

I don’t get the yugioh fandom sometimes. damn near half of GX was goofy ass plots and people eat it up but all of a sudden people are against them with Rush anime.
Comparing Go Rush to GX is like comparing a bad Adam Sandler Movie to a good one. Both have goofy gags but one was done tastefully in a good story and the other was straight trash (go rush)
Ikr? Most “criticisms” of the rush animes till now were subjective at best and downright wrong at worst. (I still havent seen the video as my wifi is struggling rn so i cant judge it). Like gx had alot ALOT of bad ideas, episodes, characters, and downright seasons. Atleast with the rush shows characters are actually consistent, they have care put into them and are unique and arent just “evil duelist of the week”

What exactly makes gx good and go rush bad exactly? Like just saying “its kid friendly” isnt really a valid complaint about a kids show, especially since ever since zexal yugioh shows tend to leave their dark elements to the latter half of the story

This isn't the first season but the first arc. Also others have pointed out but it's not confirmed that Go Rush is 200 years before Sevens. Might even be shorter time especially considering the current situation of Goha already taking over everything in Mutsuba (not Mitsuba)Town. And when was Earthdamar ever called a machine? I just remember Yuhi saying he's looking for it but never described what it was.
Kazuki Takahashi had no saying in any ygo spin off since Zexal and even there, he just delivered some character designs but not plot stuff. So Idk why point that out for Go Rush.
Love how the backs of the cards are finally just straight up regular card backs.
It was like that in Zexal BRIEFLY before they got Retconned back and then changed into a different kind of spiral back.

For me the plot really thicken and started after Arc 2, after Yuna's debut and the series entered THE LUGH arc. After that arc onward its one of the best, the most fun i had with yugioh. Watching Go Rush are really an emotion roller coaster, it make me laughed, confused, sad, exciting. Especially the ending of S2, one of the best Season/Arc ending i've seen in yugioh.

Why are they explaining the basic mechanics of the game? Yuma was pretty bad but he knew what a face down was and how to use his cards effects

After Yuga’s duel against Otes at the end of Sevens, he and Kaizo had ended up time traveling to the past in the go rush era, he recreated rush duels there

Without Astral, Yuma is just a kid who can't duel his way out of a paper bag and without Yuma, Astral is just a Ghost with Alzheimer's, the story would literally not function without Astral or Yuma, they are both the main protagonist. P.S. The same applies to AI from Vrains and the Pharaoh from DM
tell me who your two favorite go rush characters are. You have to decide on one that you like aesthetically, by design while you have to like another regardless of aesthetics, design.
Yudias alien form has the best design in my opinion. Regardless of aesthetic Zuwijo cuz I'm hoping he just shuts this ish down so we can move on to a better yugioh 🤣

Really? I think this is so much worse than sevens and sevens already was pretty bad but more power to you! Sadly yes, this anime has a problem the last two series with the villains. Honestly, I think they need to tear down and go back to basics for the next Yu-Gi-Oh series

I don't know this show (nor do i know about sevens, i just know its scenario because of duel links), but if this takes place before Sevens, how can Yuga be the creator of Rush Duel in Sevens if Rush Duels existed 200 years prior?
Man time travelled during his 2 years going missing in hyper space after his battle with otes in sevens.

Yeah, despite him being a small part of this series basically what happened was in Yu-Gi-Oh sevens when he was battling Otes in hyperspace he went through a wormhole. It took him back in time and he shared Rush dueling with everybody here in go rush world

Yeah, it was terrible. Basically, in Yu-Gi-Oh sevens the previous series at the end when the main character Yuga went into hyperspace during the final battle before he came back to Earth, he got sucked through some type of temporal thing that thrusted him into the past and he's a minorly mentioned and shown character in Go Rush who has helped facilitate Rush dueling
They need to go back to the basics LOL

bro like I really wanted to get into rush duels and it's animes but sevens butchered all of my hopes tbh.It's waaaaaay to childish for most of the peoples liking and i've watched i think 10ish? episodes and it felt like literal torture for me 😭 I just want the good ol Yu-Gi-Oh! to return and maybe just MAYBE we will get a new master duel anime and a new summoning technique one day.Just waiting patiently...

I watch this video twice and I still don't know what the hell's going on and honestly it just makes me feel sad that this is what has happened to Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens and Go Rush look like a joke It looks like a fanfic of confusion mess. We really couldn't get a show where we either return back to the original dual monsters where Yugi and his friends are doing something or Jaden or Yusei. Watching this and watching sevens I'm like what the hell kind of crap is this Why was it even greenlit
It's not just you bro. This series is an absolute joke in my opinion, it's worse than sevens which was already pretty bad compared to the previous series. I completely agree they need to go back to what made the first three Yu-Gi-Oh series so iconic. Simplify the game. And maybe reignite the fans flames for the TCG by creating a Yu-Gi-Oh series that only focuses on monsters in the main deck

And they been trying to recaptured the success of the first three series
go rush maybe the worst season of yu gi oh. the caracthers are blend and unfunny, the story is full of plot holes and the duels are unforgettable. honest, i am surprised that this got a third season.
