this is probably one of the best war films since saving private ryan. another really under rated film that id recommend is Overlord came out in 2018

Lone Survivor is a great war film too.
He did much more than that, saved more than the 75 people and was in another engagements throughout the war

@@iamscottyg yup. Not necessarily all of them, but he took a rifle stock and strapped it to his arm to keep his joint in place after he was shot in the forearm.

@@iamscottyg yea for sure. But I think they also show the power and fortitude of strong will. Doss’s was rooted in his religious faith I believe.
And two broken legs
At 17:05 This scene happened in real life. The other medic told Doss that there was no hope for wounded man (I mean, even today losing both legs can kill you pretty fast, imagine back then!) but Doss insisted on helping him. The man survived. 😭♥️
The actor who gets his legs blown off, is an actual war veteran who lost both his legs in battle.
It's crazy to think that they could survive such hell and such extensive injuries. Thanks for watching
Man why am I just now seeing this? CZcams algorithms are shit. I enjoyed this reaction a lot. After you commented on the dads ptsd. It reminded of mine. After serving 3 combat tours overseas to Iraq and Afghanistan I developed minor ptsd. It wasn’t psychological but neurological. I had minor brain damage after an IED explosion and for several years I would randomly smell gun powder (nitroglycerin). I could be on my couch eating pizza and just randomly be overwhelmed with the smell of gun powder, I’d lose my appetite. Every day I feel for those that have worse ptsd than I did. P.s subscribed.

DUDE are you serious? What do you think what Japan is? A tiny cute small tropical island, wich you can cross by foot in ten minutes with 500 people living there?? Dude!
I dont know about back then, but today there live over 125.000.000 people on that tiny island wich consists of actually about 6000 Islands, big and small, five bigger main islands all in all with a surface of 378.000 square kilometres. Yes, much smaller than the U.S. but still..... enough to give 'em a hard time.

Funny that you first assumed it was Zimmer who did the music for this. RGW has worked a lot with Zimmer in the past and is one of the guys from his team at Remote Control. Obviously since then he's taken his own path and worked on huge films like this and Wonder Woman. His brother Harry is also a major hollywood composer.

You should watch videos by war stories and this one is separate and I think that it mostly or all the videos are of WW2 and also
timeline makes documentaries and some are of WW2 and they are very interesting and provide a lot of information at the same time

I was going to watch your upload, but your negative comment towards one of the best actor and also director, turned me off.
