All it needs it Betty walking over and asking, "What is this, the best two out of three?"
right
You could say they got swept up into it
yeah, I always wondered, though, why she was being such a killjoy! :)
Great dancers did a terrific job on the recreation of the original.......all the girl needed was that beautiful dress on Vera Ellen.
I have watched White Christmas since I was 6 years old. This is ABSOLUTE tribute to that unforgettable scene.
At 63 years old I have seen this movie countless times and I have to say.. Well Done!
I'm watching *White Christmas* right this minute. Somehow I thought, Gee, I wonder if anyone ever tried replicating this??? And here I am!! Beautifully done - the singing, dancing, the backdrop...Bravo! 👏👏👏
When I get married I want my first dance to be this.
A beautiful cover of a lovely moment in a gorgeous film. Thank you for being true to the choreography!
That was bloody awesome Cory. You did Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen proud indeed.
Absolutely breathtaking! Such elogence from a time long ago. They are so natural together and a beautiful sight to behold. I never tire from watching this video. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Such beautiful dancing... like a dream.. and Cory sure can sing! He and Eloise make a wonderful pair on the dance floor... but His vocals are impressive! Thanks for sharing this.
Love this song. Love the dancers too. Irving Berlin was incredible.
It's videos like this that remind me how awesome dancing is. You guys did so beautifully! I love the scenery you picked and both of you are so incredibly talented. Thank you for inspiring me to learn this dance!
So glad you are making classic new again!!! Horrrah!!
You have taken great care in reproducing the original. And also natural shootings on the river bank! Vocals and smiles! Wonderful. I'll save this video in my videos 😊
Wow! That was an honestly great performance!
Immediately a like and honest applause!
If young, radiant talents like you can transfer an old but wonderfully timeless song so perfectly into the present -
there is a wonderful hope that good music never fades...
Excellent! Pure enjoyment and perfection. Thank you.
Beautifully done!!
Thank you very much for nice dancing and good mood. From Russia 😚
Really well done. Not exactly the original but really well done.
Beautiful. Just beautiful.....
You guys gave me chills!!! So glad to see true dancing instead of "choreography" 😁😁🙊 Thank you!!!! Now do Singing In The Rain!!!
TBTHWYD draws me in for two reasons:
1) The synchronization and grace of two dancers who have just met each other, according to the story.
2) The look of joy and peace on the face of both dancers.
Cory & Eloise, you captured both of these factors, in the spirit of Kaye & Vera-Ellen
Thank you!
Just one more comment: You two could have been understudies for Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen....easily!
A truly great remake of one of my most favorite dance scenes from a movie!
Just curious... (I LOVE dance scenes in movies - I also love the costumes design for them ... there is art in how a well designed hem of a dress "dances") ... which other dance scenes are your favorites? I'll tell you, one of my favorites is Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers "Pick Yourself Up - Dust Yourself off - Start All Over Again" from Swing Time. Again, sometimes I watch just the hem of the skirt. Movie dance segments have so many wonderful components...you can watch them over and over and find new things to love.
WOW!!!! You are both amazing and a pleasure to watch! Since I was a young girl, I've wanted to dance this with the man I'll love!! It brought such joy watching you both! Bravo!!!!!
WOW that was a fantastic performance!!!
Fabulous! I love that you've recreated this amazing dance so wonderfully! Thank you!
Excellent! Wonderful to see such talented people are still here to entertain us. Thank you..
What a beautiful recreation of a memorable dance number from one of Hollywoods great musicals. Kaye and Ellen would have been honored. Thank you.
This is a fantastic recreation, not to mention the great cover! Great job all around!
OMG!!! That was so AWESOME!!! I Loved it and watched it 3 times in a row, you all were WONDERFUL - thank you for sharing this Amazing Dance with us!!
This was just as good as the original!!
FANTASTIC. How clever and how beautifully executed. This was not only a loving tribute, but it was also an inspired routine to recreate! Thank you!
I don’t know how this ended up in my CZcams feed, but it did and I absolutely love it. You have enchanted me and made my day.
Thank you!
très très belle interprétation ! félicitation bon timing....Awesome
Wonderful - simply wonderful, with love
I’m quite familiar with at least a majority of the fine singing and dancing of the beautiful musical numbers of yesteryear .
This dance number was on the the best numbers I’ve ever seen .
I rate it as high as any Astaire dance number I’ve seen . And that’s saying a lot .
This particular number was positively breathtaking ! Wow
Waaah! That was so good! Thank you for the cover!
This is brilliant. Perfectly performed. Gorgeous photography. Imaginative while being true to it source. Wonderful.
This was beautiful! So masterfully done and most definitely a very lovely very well done and very clever tribute! 🎄🎉☃️💗
As a retired dancer I LOVED finding this in my suggested videos! You two are really wonderful.
YES!!!!! Three things I really liked: The backgrounds, the clothes (I always thought Danny Kaye's grey shoes didn't make sense and I loved the blue and white dress), and the use of light, especially the backlit section--it definitely made it seem more like real life, which it was.
Fantastic job! I’ve been watching White Christmas for as long as I can remember and you both mastered this perfectly!
Absolutely beautiful!
A joy to watch! What a great tribute, and you did a marvelous job. Bravo!
Wow, you two did an amazing job! I really enjoyed watching you dance, it was just like watching Vera and Danny.
Fantastic! Bravo! You guys were amazing. What a lot of work to pull that off. Just seeing this on Nov. 27, 2023. I wonder what year you danced this and where? Thank you for posting! 🌹
Wow loved this video. Mix of yesterday and today. Great.
Pure JOY! :)
Happy holidays 😀❤😀
waouw extraordinary and now dancing fred astaire and ginger rogers
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this WONDERFUL tribute!! I've been in love with the movie White Christmas since I was a child (I'm 63!) and this dance segment has always been one of my top favorite scenes from the film. Thanks to the whole team for doing this for us and for making it public. One of the best uses of the internet I've seen in a long, long time. You actually brought tears to my eyes. And kudos to CZcams and their algorithms for showing it to me! God bless you all!
Wonderful job!! Bravo!!!
I hope when you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, you both see a reflection of angels. You are so talented. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! You made many people cry with this video as many wish they could perform as you do. Great job!!
Truly in love with this video. It's amazing.
yall ate this up
I love the original and was very leery of this version. But it was actually very good. I wondered how the twirling around the poles and the zip line parts were going to be done. But they were recreated beautifully. Even the flamengo dancing on the overturned boats was included. Very well and respectfully done. Danny and Vera would be pleased.
My new # Favorite Video on CZcams! This blessed my heart today 😊
Stupendously done!
This is great love white christmas the cast members from the film be looking down at this in sprit bless
This was so cute, totally made my day! The performers were excellent, great job! :) Definitely one of favorite musical numbers from White Christmas! Thanks for sharing the video. :)
Just lovely!

this is one of the most incredible things Ive ever seen in my life! so much attention to detail and its so beautifully shot too! not to mention the dancing is so so gorgeous and joyous and so lovely!!! you two are both so talented! I love teaching myself dances from old movie musicals so I know it can be pretty tricky but you two executed this flawlessly! love you!!!
This was awesome! Their attention to detail all the way down to his grabbing his coat lapels was amazing!
Really impressive!
Everyone who knows the original and sees how the two exceptionally talented young artists interpret it.
Just great!
Even if something is old, but well, only the youth can keep it alive...
Merci for this especially liveable moment!
WOW just WOW great job
Fabulous! Beautifully done. It's one of my favorites!
Crazy good guys!
Beautiful
Very very nice you two!
I don't know how anyone could watch that scene in WC and not know it is Fosse, credited or not. It is one of my all time favorites and you honored it brilliantly.
LOVE this so much! Well done and hella fun!
So Amazing!!! That is my favorite dance of all time and you two did an excellent job of recreating it!!
Beautiful job!
Yes..he must be starring on Broadway...listen to that voice.....he's another Robbie Fairchild but Rob is a champ ballet star too.....and goregous
This is absolutely fantastic!!! Great job!
Thank you so much for recreating one of my favourite scenes, from one of my favourite films. "White Christmas" is the family holiday classic that always has to be watched, often several times, every year. You did such a lovely job recreating and improvising this number by Danny Kaye and Vera-Ellen. You and your team were extremely clever to use the stair banister rails in place of the pulley. Please keep doing more of these - they don't make films like this anymore. Hopefully, "La La Land" represents the beginning of a return to the musical genre, which seems to come back during challenging times such as these. Fantastically well done!
Bravo you 2! I love how you went from your recording to the Danny K track. I don’t know if you 2 are a couple or dance partners - (that’s they key anyway )I bet it was a blast to make this. Well done. Made my day.
You both did a phenomenal job. Very impressive.
incredible.
Ok.....this was just absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite dances and you both did it perfectly. It was so natural and real and in New York City.......the greatest cities in the world. Thanks for doing this.....made me smile.
Loved it!😁
Fantastic, I am very hard to please, brilliant
I am so impressed by Cory Lingner - he is extraordinary.
Bravo! Such a beautiful tribute! Even though it's after Christmas I'm in the mood for popping "White Christmas" in the DVD player. Thank you so much! Truly enjoyed your performance.
bringing it into a new generation ! BRAVO!
Wow, so pleasantly surprised how well these two danced this piece! Not many can hold a candle to Danny Kaye & Vera Ellen's in performance in "White Christmas ", but these two did a beautiful job!
now do "it's de-lovely" from anything goes!
He does give me some Donald O'Connor vibes
What fun! I only just saw this
THANK YOU!! After cringing watching so many other subpar versions imitating the original scene and score, FINALLY came across yours which was BEAUTIFULLY done!! I just subscribed, thank u for amazing content!!
Very very well done. You are definitely a much stronger dancer than Danny Kaye (who had to work SO hard to keep up with Vera-Ellen) so the number flows even better than in the original.
Bravo
Nicely done!
This is an amazing rendition, thanks for brightening up my day. Love the setting.
LOVE this❤❤❤
