Lets take a look at PDR Blending Hammers. Which one is right for you. Learn how to blend at Real World PDR also lessons from beginner to advanced, taught by Jim Mitchell and his guests who are some of the Best PDR Techs the industry has to offer. Carbon tech, Metal Medic Carsformers. These are the hammers I'm using most these days, here's a rundown so you can pick which one is right for you.
Update!!! Bobby willey of Willey quick tools got ahold of me and pointed out that I am missing the o-ring (thatâs included) for my magnetic tip. So it shouldnât fall off like that. This one is on me. I was wrong. Disregard.
vous pouvez allumer sous- titre dans votre lesson, parce que je comprend pas anglais ,merci
you can turn on the subtitle in your lesson, because i don't understand english, thanks
Another nice objective comparison. đ I really want to get my hands on one of those Gulf Coast hammers in the near future.
Thanks Jim I still love the Brice Rockhill that won the first shootout. You save me a ton of money and time.
I know this is a work in progress.
I feel like for being slightly new, And especially to techs who werenât at mte 2020. The Druz Tools euro handle would have been the one to think about.. also hammers are a little over done like the wheel and itâs a 3 factor. Handle design, head weight. Modular options. Itâs all personal feel as we all swing differently. But I am glad you mentioned the carsformers hammer and the underground Gulf coast Damascus guys. Great review!!
Two things:
1) great video. I love my Carsformers and Metal Medic hammers!
2) So thatâs where my red chair went!!
Hahahah found it!!!
Wow you have some great tools Jim, you would laugh if you saw the small amount of tools I have to work with, another well produced video, very informative!
Itâs an addiction, completely unnecessary as youâve shown. Itâs more of a hobby collection at this point.
Love the way you produce your videos, we were talking about you today and how well edited your content is!
@@RealWorldPDRTraining Thanks Jim, your style of video is great because it is completely original, I get to spend a lot of time on my edits as it's always raining here! All the best:-)
Bryceâs original has a grip going almost all the way to the hammer head. Iâve been using that one for 10 years or so. Nice and heavy
Yeah Jim that was willy quick đł
Love this video I do need to get a heavier hammer.
is there video demos of what each hammer does?
Hi bro where did you get the the leather tips on the hammers I see

Great video!
I would like to know where to buy the black tip you're showing on "The Legend" (Bryce Rockhill OG) hammer from? It appears @ [4:32] ... Any link eventually will be extremely useful. Thank you in advance.
Unfortunately that was a tip from a tool company that I owned, but donât anymore. Itâs since died, so that tip canât be purchased.
Good news is that you can find similar tips here vippdrtools.com/collections/knockdown-tips/products/vip-leather-heads-screw-on-interchangeable-leather-tip-set.
Hope this helps!
@@RealWorldPDRTraining first of all thank you for your reply! đ
Second. Your tip looks great so I think you should consider the option to start producing/selling it again.
Third, since Iâm just starting Iâm still looking for the right tools for beginners. As a first all around tool I'm thinking of buying the *Ultra Dent Tioolâs 24" (60,96 cm) Soft tip double bend 65° for adjustable handle with interchangeable tip, 3/8" diameter* www.denttoolcompany.nl/en/24-inch-soft-tip-double-bend-65-degrees-f-88462379.html .
There are some tips as well, like:
Tip #1 www.denttoolcompany.nl/en/screw-on-tip-grooved-for-a35u-snap-on-cap.html
Tip #2 www.denttoolcompany.nl/en/7-16-inch-hammer-tip-phenolic-resin-pointed.html
Tip #3 www.denttoolcompany.nl/en/3-4-inch-stainless-round-blending-ball-5-16-18.html
... and so on.
*Do you think itâs a good option to purchase that tool as my first PDR tool?*
The online shop is in Europe and since Iâm located in Europe too I consider it as a great option to purchase from there. Iâm accepting advices if you have any for me. đ
Thanks again for helping the PDR community (including beginners like me LoL). Stay safe.
Alot closer to being able to join than I was a couple weeks ago, no I didnt sell a kidney lol. Sent you a friend request on fb. When you get sick and tired of waiting for the future, you start planning for it.
That right there is the truth. Interesting enough thatâs the only thing I look for in successful future techs. Iâve got guys who are âgoing to sign up â for over a year now. Promise they will never be good techs. The willingness to go out and get it, make the sacrifices and pave their own way..... those make good techs. Iâm happy for you, and keep up that attitude and I promise youâll do well here.
I want to buy car formers hammer where can I buy it ?
Six months ago in Orlando......
Sorry homey, limited run.
Too many hammers on the wall, but same could be said for the rest of those tools too!
thomkirby blasphemous.
I have just one hammer
And thatâs amazing man. I used to have only the one that I made. I just like collecting tools anymore.
I cant put down my chasing hammer.
Not a thing wrong with that.
If it works; it works
