LIVING COLOUR - CULT OF PERSONALITY (Guitar Cover)

Here's a new cover of a band I really enjoy. It might be not the hardest song but its super groovy and counter intuitive by not using the usual 2 or 4 repetitions of a riff.
The solos are definitely jammed so I've used the patterns of the guitar player but couldnt really replicate it note by note the way I usually try to do

Thanks! I love what he's done to the song but also his style in general!! It was kinda impossible to recreate it but I doubt he was following a proper note by note solo

Regarding Vernon Reid's style: Haters have said the same thing about the pentatonic scale long ago...calling it odd and not a real scale. They said the same thing about the blues scale...calling it a scale with the wrong note, they said Hendrix was odd and strange, they said Wes Montgomery was odd and strange for playing with his thumb, they said Allan Holdsworth was odd and weird for using random notes....etc etc.
Vernon created one of the most iconic riffs in rock history...haters do not.....SO...
FORGET ALL THE HATERS...THOSE GUITARIST WERE MASTERS...AND... THIS MUSIC ROCKS!!!

I love this one you do too. I like the girl gone bad. I told you I couldn't tell the difference with my eyes closed. You do another Van Halen I forget. Cemetery gates is awesome too. You are definitely talented and have sic skills. You should be laying music down on a 24 track recorder. I keep forgetting my own age, they don't 24 track anymore, it's all computer now. You have more capabilities with the equipment in the background then a 24....... Excellent. Great job. I'm impressed and that is rare. 👍
