The party finishes their necessary purchases within the city of Emon in preparation for their journey. With the arrival of the Envoys of Bahamut, and the holy container in which to transport the evil Horn of Orcus, Vox Machina is given permission to embark on a Skyship to cross the Ozmit Sea toward he distant city of Vasselheim.
As they traverse the expansive ocean, the ship is suddenly under siege by a band of wyvern and griffin-riding bandits, tossing the deckhands over board to their deaths. The party enters the fray, defending the Skyship, and even taking a prisoner in the process.
With the battle over, and the artifact still safe, the party prepares for their arrival in a strange, foreign land...

scepta101 nope, nothing wrong here. Move along, move along.
Kinda makes sense. You're in a bar and you here a goliath ask a question in his simple voice, and you think gentle giant. "I'm 3/4 an atheist darling but I know my foot doesn't fucking work"
Vax is easily one of my favorite characters in this series. Love me a sass-master. 😂
Always liked the idea of an atheist in a world with beings you can call actual gods.
@@Virtualblueart Really? Because an Atheist does not believe in a god. With gods being worshipped widely and having contact with members of his party it is really stupid and borderline ignorance on Vax's part. Of course that is without saying that its very probable Vax still doesnt recognize these "gods" as true gods.
@@Virtualblueart Terry Pratchett, in Feet of Clay, wrote one. A golem who was resistant to the gods' vengeful lightning bolts
@@godturkey4098 It's more likely that they consider the word "atheist" to mean "non-worshipper" rather than "non-believer" in this context. I do agree that an atheist in the classical sense in a world of magic and actual gods is kind of nonsensical.
@@Virtualblueart Markus Heitz once wrote a series about a guy like that. He was an atheist in a world that was pretty much like ours, only that all the gods of old (Zeus, Loki, Amaterasu, etc.) have returned and conquered the planet. Not really in a dystopian sense, since society is still largely functioning, but they are the ruling cast above mortal governments.
The protagonist fought in the war that followed their arrival, even being one of a very few that actually slayed a god, as well as several monstrosities and other things that did the gods' bidding. Right up to the point in time that the story takes place in, he does not believe that there actually is such a thing as a god. He believes they're either a mass hallucination or aliens with vastly superior technology that took on the guise of gods in order to better control us, for some other unnkown purpose or simply just for a lark. Or he thinks that he might be the only real person in that world and he might've simply gone insane and is imagining all of it.
It's a pretty interesting novel overall; I don't know if it's been translated into English though.
12:45 "Sorcerers can wear _no_ armor. You are wrong."
Kudos to Matt for shutting that down so decisively.
He had to draw the line somewhere. He let his players get away with A LOT of BS, particularly during combats in the early days of campaign 1. All of their understanding of Bonus actions, concentration and general spell mechanics were very lacking. I’m glad combats have gotten so much better as they have continued. It was a weak point in their otherwise excellent gameplay.
What makes me super curious is, did Orion really know but tried to lie, or did he really read that (sorc can wear cloth + leather) somewhere (maybe pathfinder book?)
xEvilRaptorx I doubt it was intentional. The group doesn’t really follow 5th ed rules in these early games, because they weren’t familiar with them. Vax and Vex both use multiple bonus actions in a single turn on a regular basis, Rangers do not in fact get advantage on everything because they are in their favored terrain, or fighting their favored enemy and Matt’s rulings are often dubious or encounter breaking. *cough cough Kavarn.
Tiberius “feels” like he breaks the rules and hogs the spotlight in combat, but that’s mostly him just sticking to Matt’s home brew bonus action spell rules.
@@logancuster8035 Matt said episode one, they do things differently, so rule nitpicking means nothing.
That line confused me a little because I'm use to 3.5 where Spell Failure is a thing lol. But knowing what is coming soon and already seeing the issues, I am glad he stepped in and said something.
Sometimes Orion's roleplay reminds me of Michael Scott at his improv classes, where literally everyone else in the room except him is painfully aware of how he's sucking every ounce of air out of the room.
What a brilliant analogy ! :')
His character WIS is 4 or 6, i think, so ...

Do you know how to use Google? Laura Bailey and Ashley Johnson have done plenty of voice acting. Of note, Laura Bailey has 373 credits and is the voice of Jaina Proudmoore in World of Warcraft, and Ashley Johnson has 122 credits and is the voice of Ellie in The Last of Us. These are two of the greatest games of all time. Marisha Ray has done some voice acting, but she is the least experienced in the group.
I would imagine they didn't have much of a voice on their characters when they started, It's hard to change a voice of a character after you already decide.
Are all of you thick? He clearly meant giving their critical role characters a voice. Laura doea a British accent but Keylieth and Pike just use their normal voices despite having a specific voice in the backstory video Ashly and Marisha are fun but they just feel like players where the others feel believable. I'd say pike is worse then Keilieth RP wise, I like all of them but Pike is the most 'just a player' Keylieth has her moments like in the underdark and has used a voice but Pike has only spoken as Ashly and the eay Matt punished pike in the Underdark shows how she was straying from her character. He's given her another chance with thr mending and i hope Ashley improves her persona as Pike. They're all talented voice artists even that alone can be am improvment. Grog is a perfect example of a voice seperating the character from the Player.
Fourth Reich at least she looks hot.
I'm pretty sure that she's only there because she's gm's girlfriend.
Matt gives Orion so many opportunities to play with the team, and he just...won't .
Binging currently. Orion is literally the kid on the playground that was like “i get an invincible forcefield cause I’m like suuuper cool and better than everyone else also I get a spell that does infinity damage cause IM the main character”
That is such a perfect way of putting it oh my god

Matt: *brings the world to life with incredible description and acting; comes up with countless names, personalities, and voices for NPCs; makes maps and brings models for navigation and fights; keeps track of like twenty different entities in an 80-minute encounter; can recall dozens of mechanics with ease; often remembers the minutiae of the players' stats and abilities and status effects better than they do*
Also Matt (2:48:14): "In my disappointing haste, I forgot to bring your Elemental figures, and I apologize. Sorry guys. Today's been crazy."

Right? Like anyone would ACTUALLY be mad at him for it. lol! He's such a good dude, we don't deserve him. 🥰
My hubby is an Amazing DM who spends hours making maps and props for his campaigns, always keeps tons of minis and dice on him in case people forget, knows knows the stats for anything at the drop of a hat…but “hey, do you have an extra pencil I could borrow?”…. OH NO SO SORRY!
I think it is a specific personality to be a good DM
Percy is RAPIDLY becoming my favorite. He wasn't at the beginning, but every smart move he makes, I'm falling more for the character.
He wasn't very prominent to begin with... He's definitely making up for it
Taliesin is just an amazing actor and all around cool dude. In a group with such outstanding talent (especially post-Orion), he is just incredible with the tiniest little details to flesh out his characters. Tal in Campaign 2 is even better, especially as Cad. The small flavor nuances he gives his characters tend to go mostly unnoticed/unappreciative; however the way he plays 20 WIS 9 INT is absolutely brilliant.
Oh yes. It seems clear to me he's an experienced roleplayer. He doesn't hog the limelight but makes his mark when appropriate.
He seems to be one of only a few people at the table who actually read and understands their skills. Pike has obviously not spent any time to learn her skills, every cast is like her first. Tiberius constantly does something stupid in an attempt to be overpowered, Scanlan doesn’t know what a concentration spell is and has yet to use that great magic item that lets him have 2 concentration skills up at once (though he did refuse to part with it out of spite).
I find it sad that they get far more out of playing DnD (basically a career) than most of us but some of them put so little effort into doing it. Thankfully the personalities and group interactions compensate for the lack of basic knowledge.
@@SaneNoMore I mean, I'm pretty sure most people watch critical role because of the roleplay, not the combat. I know I do

Everytime Percy says his whole name and the entire group just simultaneously echoes different versions of "but you can call him Percy", it makes me grin like a loon.

In episode 31 Grog is facing and kills a vampire...keyleth was not in the room so she had no knowledge of a vampire at all, then on her turn, she burst into the room and tried to cast a sunbeam at a mist that once was the vampire.
Matt said there was no reason she would attack a strange mist when her friend was surrounded and being attacked by a room full of soldiers and archers.
She is very visibly..not happy with this, as this was probably the plan she was working on leading up to her turn.
This is understandable...
What is not understandable is her attitude towards this ruling by her DM, she was acting more like a child who wanted to do something and was mad when she couldn't do it.
(This will not be the only time this will happen, not often, but it pops up just enough to become an average thing.)
She is an adult playing a cooperative game, not a child playing by themselves. timestamp 1:30:30 give or take it goes on for about the fight with the vampire. edited for corrected time

He kind of has to since Scanlan is a kind of a perv. If the destinction between character and player was not so well done the way he treats pike would have been really uncomfortable. @@user-lt6ho5kt7v In Laura's defense, the Beastmaster Ranger in Pathfinder is way better than the one in 5e D&D. Shes the only one that got a serious downgrade to her class when they switched systems for the stream. And Trinket is, like, the whole central thing for her subclass. Beastmaster needs a revision, because it sucks in 5e
Exactly. The fact that she basically has to chose between her actions or the bear actions is absolutely crazy, and defeats the whole purpose of having a companion. Plus, why would she ever forgo her own actions (spells, magic arrows, etc) to make what is a buffed CR 1 monster act in her stead.
And yet she talks shit about Doty

NiD0 Ravensbeard While I do agree that Orion’s table etiquette is terrible, that does seem like something Tiberius would do. The difference between a good player properly roleplaying character flaws and a bad player saying “that’s what my character would do” is doing it in a way where it is clearly coming from the character and not from the player, and how annoying it is to the rest of the party. Orion pulls it off terribly, but if Tiberius were in the bands of a good player he would be a much more interesting and cool character.
Yea he's being disruptive and a prick but I don't feel like ridiculing him is the most mature way of handling it. Again, it's totally not uncalled for, but I fell like it's very much unnecessary.
A little bit ironic that her making that jab at Orion is a form of self validation... and so it this comment.

*Tiberius:* Has the full capability to dash, jump off the edge of the airship (very heroically probably) and dive towards the guard that was thrown off the ship by the wyvern, use sorcery points for quickened spell (which should be super easy, barely an inconvenience since Tiberius has like 40 sorcery points at level 10 anyway) cast fly as a 4th level spell with himself and the guard as targets, and absolutely and heroically save the day, at least for that guard.
*Also Tiberius:* i'd like to ruin that completely functional ballista
Which I think that was a uncharacteristic decision from Orion because Tiberius as a character would have done that just to get attention
Orion can't leave the show soon enough, if I was dming this game I would make his life hell untill he got the hint to respect the other players at the table. If you want a DM to constantly bend the rules for you then maybe play well with others especially on this platform centered around entertainment through amazing story telling and great personalities. In short, guys a dick.
@@bowserbrowser6559 Well you could just tell him to shove off instead of being passive-aggressive. He would pick up on that and get more aggressive and rude, just making it worse for everyone. :/ Luckily I haven't had terrible players yet, but I think ripping off the bandaid would be better.
Props for using “super easy, barely an inconvenience”
DM: Saving the day is TIGHT! Aren't you going to run out of sorcery points though?
Orion: Nah because I have like 40 sorcery points I decided.
DM: But how do the rules allow that?
Orion: Listen man I need you to get aaall the way off my back about the rules okay?
I hate to jump on the tiberius hate train but god, hearing orion describe that dagger telekinesis stunt felt like listening to a 10 year old talk about the cool stuff their sonic oc can do
That's not even how telekinesis should work. I think Matt just let it roll because it was too much work to explain to him and he would find another way to powerplay anyway
@@Dave004 I think also, since this game has a lot of homebrew in it, Matt lets them get away with things that might TECHNICALLY not really work with the mechanics of 5e or would be an extreme bending of the rules, as long as they aren't obnoxious about it, or if it makes for a great piece of content for their game. That was the problem with Orion and how he played Tiberius. He inserted himself into things when he didn't need to, seemingly because he (either consciously or subconsciously) didn't like the spotlight being on others, and didn't like to be told he's wrong. And there's the fact that he played Tiberius as a "holier than thou" completely unironically. (I especially noticed this with his interaction with the dragonborn paladin during the episode with the council meeting, where he called her a peasant TO HER FACE, and then Orion seemed indignant when called out about it.)
@@Dave004 The difference is the intent and knowledge. Ashley was clearly a newbie back then and was trying to be creative without really knowing the details. Orion was obviously well-versed in 5e and chose to use that knowledge to attempt to cheat whenever possible while throwing fits when he was denied.

Im starting to love Percy, starting off and hearing his back story I thought he would be some edgy loner who tries to be the smartest in the room. But no he has been consistently funny, light hearted and genuinely clever
The description Taliesin has used repeatedly is that Percy tends to operate under the assumption that he is "the only adult in the room." So you're not really wrong in your first impression! XD
I get that vibe with his character in the third campaign though. But he is playing jin barbarian, so makes sense to be edgy.
In fairness I think Percy *is* an edgy loner who tries to be the smartest in the room, but what makes it work is that Taliesin doesn't have main character syndrome, nor does he try to make Percy overpowered. So when he does contribute, it carries more weight, and feels more natural to the story. I think Taliesin is a really good player. I think he was a little too quiet initially, but has really started to shine these last few episodes.
@@EvilRobotSteve Taliesin later mentioned that he was pretty badly depressed and trying out a series of different meds during the first 15 or so episodes. He actually used the show as a barometer, watching himself back to try to gauge how he was doing/appearing on camera.
(A lot of the CR cast have been quite open about their various mental-health issues over the years; this discussion happened on the 'We Are Legion' episode of the comic book show 'The Wednesday Club' which was all about that subject.)

Crazy how Liam in New Jersey can be more present in the game than Orion
And Sam
Well he clearly perceived that Matt was undermining his character in the gameplay, which was only true in a sense because Orion’s play style was fairly rude and self-centered and that certainly did not ingratiate him to the DM nor party members. His mannerisms and how he conducted himself in game and at the table was discordant with the harmony of the rest of the table. Such as his obstinate response to entering the temple for the Kavarn fight, or when he “bought” a vital item without the DM’s knowledge or involvement, or when he tried to trade magic items with a players character when the player wasn’t present at the table to consent and wanted Matt to decide for a player’s character.
A lot of little things that just made him insufferable at the table. Checking out during battles, trying to do too much in each turn, not being descriptive in his intent, doing things without the party’s involvement or knowledge that was purely self-motivated etc.
It’s no surprise he was removed from the campaign. His etiquette was awful and was souring I’m the fun for the rest of the group. The harmony of the group after his leaving has been so much more peaceful and enjoyable.
@@Vaillle I am in the process of catching up to the campaign, and this is both a revelation and a confirmation of sorts to me, considering that players get to navigate the DM's world and some modesty does anyone well. I am still not at the point to see how that played out but I did notice him also being hypocritical when directly criticizing other players [for not paying attention], then being absent for most of the rolep-lay, and intruding in some already established interaction simply because he found it somehow convenient to himself.

For those who want to know the events of this episode without listening to the full thing (because of Orion's increasingly poor behavior, both in-game and in reality), I will be putting a brief action summation below for people to read, and doing the same with every episode from this one to Episode 27 (the last one Orion appears in). Spoilers below!
- Our Story resumes with... the party standing outside of Gilmore's Glorious Goods, sorting through their new gear and dividing it amongst themselves. Listed below are what each party member has bought (with descriptions of each item's perks listed in my comment on the previous episode): Vax has a Dagger of Life-Stealing +1, Vex has a Pearl of Power, Pike has a Frostbrand shortsword & commissioned enchanted plate armor (will take an in-game month's time to be finished), Grog has a Belt of Dwarven Kind & two boxes of Gilmore's Glorious colored wax (crayons), Percy hasa tome titled A Manual on Quickness in Action & a mythril chain undershirt, Keyleth has a Ring of Protection +2, Tiberius has a Cloak of Displacement, Scanlan has Coldsnap Leather Armor +2, and sitting in the Bag of Holding are 3 superior healing potions, 6 greater healing potions, 2 potions of petrification removal, & a Ring of Evasion.
- Tiberius attempts for a 3rd time to trade with Scanlan, but to no avail; Scanlan insists that he wants to think on it. Scanlan, Keyleth, & Tiberius then head back into Gilmore's to do some last-minute shopping; Scanlan inquires about a custom potion that will allow him to leave a mark in any place he's seen firsthand. Gilmore pledges to brew this within 2 days. Keyleth finds 2 books titled Essential Herbalism & The Nature of Nature (serving as a starting point on collecting alchemical components needed for potion-making). Once Scanlan is done, Tiberius asks about further enchanting an already-enchanted item. Gilmore warily tells Tiberius that such arcane abilities are obscenely rare, leaving Tiberius disappointed. Meanwhile, Vex seeks out a smith that can forge something new for Trinket. They meet Karin, a Dwarven woman who promises she will make armor for Trinket out of the Bullette hide the party collected in the Underdark.
- Over the next 2 days off, each member spends their time as follows: Percy goes to his workshop & starts making both a grappling hook arrow & a more refined version of his earlier explosive arrow (3 of those; one of which was made so precisely it may carry a bonus effect). For these arrows, Vex kisses Percy on the cheek, to which he teases, "I... I'm just kissing everyone in the party now, am I? I've made my way through the twins, so who's next?" Pike secludes herself in the Temple of Saran Ray, spending time in constant prayer & apology for her violent actions in the Underdark. On the 2nd day, she feels Saran Ray touch her & reassure her of its presence; the crack in her holy symbol is gone, now looking brand new. Vax, who has been patiently waiting for his foot to finally be healed with the blessing of Saran Ray's divine touch upon Pike, sees his foot complete healed as though it were never harmed to being with. Grog visits the Laughing Lamia Tavern with Scanlan, seeking information on other goliaths nearby. Grog fails to persuade, but Scanlan manages to scare the f**k out of the whole bar. A young halfling answers in fear: "n-no...," but a human warrior informs both Scanlan & Grog that just south of Kraghammer's entranceway, a bold clan of goliaths have been daring to attack merchant caravans headed to Iman. Keyleth spends her 2 days in the keep reading her new books, taking notes and studying to learn the basics of potion-making. Tiberius locks himself away in his room, enchanting another earring so that everyone in the party can have one, rather than leaving 1 or 2 members out. He's about halfway done when the 3rd day of home-living dawns.
- On Day 3, the party receives a message from the Council: "Please come hastily." Scanlan picks up his custom potion from Gilmore's, & Vex picks up Trinket's new armor from the smithy (the armor gives +2 AC & resistance to bludgeoning). While en route, the party stops at Allura's Tower so Tiberius can ask Allura about finishing the earring he'd started; she pledges to do so, as well as finishing the warp circle in the Keep. Tiberius thanks her with a purple dandy (a flower) & after some teasing from the group, they go to the Palace where they see the Council members (described in a comment on the previous episode), along with 2 envoys from Vasselheim. After some brief hesitation from Tiberius, he moves the Horn of Orcus from Grog's Bag of Holding into the Order's holy box.
- Everyone heads to Cloudtop, where their airship and Captain Damon await them. Provisions are already aboard, & he attempts to answer questions before boarding. However, Keyleth - enamored by the magnificent skyline - nearly falls over a ledge. Grog saves her by holding her shirt so that she can simulate flying for a moment. Tiberius, meanwhile... **MASSIVE eyeroll**... casts "Image Capture" on the end of his staff so that he can "take a portrait of himself with the ship in the background." -__- A whistle blows, & everyone boards the ship - "We're off!"
- Fast-forward 2 days, during which time: Percy & Keyleth continue studying ("Manual on Quickening..." for Percy, "Natural Herbalism" for Keyleth); Grog & Pike spend some time bonding, exploring the ship; Vax aids Keyleth in making two Polymorph scrolls - one for Vex to use on Trinket when needed, & one for Tiberius to use if he needs to save a use of Fly; Vex watches Captain Damon from atop the deck, observing his habits and leadership. On the 3rd day of the voyage, everyone is woken by the sudden lurching of the ship. Grog goes to check on Kima and the holy box while everyone else rushes topside, with Scanlan asking the captain what's wrong: 4 dragon-like beasts are surrounding the ship, & all of them are being ridden upon by humanoid creatures armed with spears, waiting for an opportunity to dismount. The battle begins!
- The creatures are seen to be 3 wyverns & a griffin; despite the efforts of the twins to take out the griffin and its rider early, they don't deal enough damage to stop it from swooping in & carrying away a crewman of the ship, dropping him into the sky below to a certain death; the same fate also befalling one of the wyvern riders thanks to Tiberius' fondness for telekinesis. However, he fails to speak to the wyvern, who dives to catch its rider. Grog ties himself to the ship's left side with his chain, & Keyleth polymorphs one of the wyverns into a rabbit, damning it to a freefall as its rider lands a grappling hook toss onto the ship's right side. Thanks to Percy and Scanlan, two beasts hurl their riders; half of the enemy forces are either separated from their beasts on deck, or separated permanently.
- Vex makes her way behind Grog as cover for her attack, nailing the griffin with a lightning arrow & ordering Trinket to pummel the wyvern Percy downed. However, due to the flailing of the wyvern's poisonous tail, Trinket ignores the order out of self-preservation. Vax makes a dash to the downed wyvern, and begins carving into it like a turkey. Tiberius, still not paying attention to anything but himself, turns to run from the rear of the boat towards the center deck, once again using telekinesis to... **Heavy sigh...** fling the elven griffin rider on the right side into the front-facing ballista, setting it off - firing the bolt off into the sky... nice going there, Tibs.
- Keyleth, who was flung overboard by the griffin, shifts into an air elemental form, returns to the deck, & summons a small twister to fling the griffin's rider overboard. This shift in battle is short-lived, as the wyvern that Tiberius attempted to speak with has caught its rider, & over time made it's way to the rear of the ship, where the rider throws her spear into one of the arcane crystals holding up the ship! As everyone tumbles, Percy turns towards the rear & fires 2 rounds into the wyvern before it can carry Captain Damon off to kill him. Scanlan uses his Mage Hand to push the elven rider Tiberius failed to kill earlier completely off the boat, now falling to his actual death. One of the ship crewman returns to the right-side ballista & fires point-blank into the wounded griffin, sending his corpse spiraling towards the sea, & Vex uses her new grappling arrow to yank the halfling rider right off the mount of the last wyvern as her brother finishes the second one off with daggers. Then - in a rather dickish move, even for Tiberius - he calls back to Vax, saying "I like your idea," expending sorcerer points he doesn't even have to launch mystical daggers at the last wyvern, attempting to cut his wing off. -_______-
- With only the last wyvern remaining (the party says they want to keep the rider alive for questioning), Percy takes aim from below, & after the last 2 shots from his first clip, the wyvern stands stunned; now is Percy's moment (HDYWTDT?). He goes full Wild West on the beast, firing all six rounds of a new clip in less than 10 seconds to finish it off. Keyleth fails to snag any parts from the body as it falls past her, & instead flies back up to the deck to reunite with everyone else.
- End of Chapter: the party questions the halfling woman who's survived, & after a few questions from Grog & Tiberius (turns out they were just sky pirates & nothing more), they ask Damon what to do. Before he can finish the phrase "I would drop them norm...." Grog lets go, & Vex catches her (the grappling arrow still lodged in her shoulder from the battle), chastising Grog. Pike heals her & learns her name: Tira. Tiberius casts magic to clean her clothes & skin a bit, & the party offers her a legit job aboard the ship if she promises not to steal anything. She does so, & after Percy confirms the safety of the holy box, they all make their way below deck to rest & recoup.
wait he's still there for episode 27?? :(( I thought he left after ep17...
@@crunchylettuce8461 Unfortunately not (hence why I have a LOT of dictation left to do). He departs after Episode 27, due to the "personal disagreements" cited by Geek & Sundry in their initial statement all those years ago. However, it's believed that Matthew, out of kindness and respect for his friend, asked permission to inhabit the role of Tiberius for a 'departure' scene of sorts, allowing the remaining cast to say goodbyes in Chapter 37 before concretely moving on in the campaign without Orion or plotholes regarding where Tiberius is/was. I haven't seen the episodes ahead of C1E16 in full yet (only pieces and parts), so trust that I will work hard to transcribe as quickly as I can over the next few days to make this easier on people. All I ask in exchange is for a like on the post, so that others can see it. ^_^
@@The1WithoutFear
Your request for a like is reasonable. I will not need the transcript (at least not yet) but it's nice of you to make sure it exists for those who would need it.
(leaving a comment so this gets boosted to the top go brrrrr)
I appreciate you transcribing like this since I can not stand Orions cheating and bad manners, plus never paying attention
Questions I did not think I would be searching answers for today: the terminal velocity of a bunny rabbit is ~250 m/s
Dude, what? That's 560 mph / 900 kph, that's as fast as a jet aircraft. 25 m/s is more realistic
Actually, I did the same calculation and converted a 4-lb rabbit into metric kilograms, on an online terminal velocity calculator. The conversion resulted in a 4-lb rabbit (Ive held rabbits, so I know how big they are and how much mass they have) being converted into a 1.814 kg mass (metric). Assuming an Earth-like gravitational pull, of 9.8 m/sec², or 32ft/sec², the rabbit would fall 32 feet every second -- or about 192 feet per round, assuming 6 seconds per round. In essence, the 4-lb rabbit would fall from a height of 13,000 feet and hit the water after 6m 46.2s of time (6.77 minutes). Metrically, this works out to a 1.814 kg rabbit falling 58.8 m per round. Because 13,000 feet = 3692.4 m, it would take 6m 42.28s to hit the water. This is a difference of 4.08s between systems (standard and metric). This was also presuming 13,000 feet up, given that Matt said they could see the entire city, with Grayskull Keep being very small and hard to see. 13,000 feet is standard sky-diving height.
Idk if terminal velocity means what you think it means but a rabbit has pretty decent air resistance compared to weight.
A cats terminal velocity is studied a bit more than rabbits but it'd only 60-110mph depending on who u ask.
No way a rabbit gets even near that much faster than a cat.
The distance fallen means nothing that's the point of terminal velocity once u hit it u don't get faster
But it is the best use of a polymorph I’ve ever seen in any game or story, LoL. Both highly effective in game and highly funny in the show.
Grog gets ignored and scanlan the gnome intimidates everyone. I've now seen it all.

Orion has inspired me to use different spells instead of trying to god mode telekinesis.
Have you heard of our Lord and savior Fireball?
@@diamondflaw Lol yes and Eldritch Blast.
@@diamondflaw have you ever heard of the most common resistance and immunity in the game?
@@DaDunge Acid by the most types of enemies, Cold for the most often encoutered. Followed then by Fire. (YMMV by your DM's preference).... and whatever your flavor of face melt, Elemental Adept is your friend.
Matt was way too lenient in allowing Orion's telekinesis shenanigans. 8 daggers from thin air? No. Ripping wings off large creatures? No. Still, sometimes keeping the story flowing, and maintaining the peace is more important. I just hope he clarified the spell for him later offline. Guess I'll see next episode!
2:38:00 15 episodes in and we finally get to see Trinket earning his keep by fighting for the first time... Oh, wait, natural 1.
Thank you for inspiring me and awakening interest in D&D Rob.
