      It seems that you have zero knowledge about politics and history of the middle east since 1980's. Saddam Hussein like other arab dictators was fighting Islamic radicalism, he excuted and persecuted members of islamic organisations like (islamic brotherhood and !slamic state etc..) those organisations fought against him cause his regime was semi secular. So you toppled him, and I$I$ was founded and Iraq became a puppet of the islamic iranian regime. Nice job at fighting Islamic radicalism smartass, you shot yourself in the foot. It is known and proven that Tal!ban and Al Q@ed@ were supported and funded by Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, if you realy wanted to destroy islamic radicalism, then you should have destroyed those countries. Only few people know or remember that black Darth Vader style helmet were worn by some of the black-uniformed Fedayeen, as Uday Hussein commander of the Fedayeen and eldest son of Saddam was reportedly an avid fan of Star Wars. The helmet shell was made of fibre glass, with a nylon webbing cradle. ATGMs are very slow and there are countermeasures to reduce ATGM effectiveness such as APS systems like Trophy, and Arena-M there's no countermeasures to disable a APFSDS round from an MBT.

    • @thelordofcringe
      @thelordofcringe Před 5 měsíci

      @IceAxe1940 no theyre not lmao. In every single modern war since Vietnam, the majority of tanks have been taken out by ATGM's. Even in the gulf War where we sent a tank division head to head with the Iraqi tank division, almost half the kills were Bradley atgms and the accompanying infantry.
      In the US department of defense tally of the gulf War, it was air launched atgms from F-111s and A-10s, as well as Bradley and infantry launched atgms, that scored the vast majority of kills.
      In the Ukraine war right now, both sides are quoted repeatedly saying they only carry 2 or 3 anti-tank rounds in the entire tanks load, because of how rarely tanks face off.
      Tanks are armed with anti-tank cannons. Youd have to be suicidal to face off against one instead of just having infantry that can't see hit it with several rockets/guided missiles.
      Read ANY BOOK on ANY modern conflict and you see that the second enemy tanks are encountered but not an immediate threat, they call in air power and anti-tank teams. They don't rush in with their own tanks unless the weather is blocking all other options, such as at the Battle of 73 Easting.
