Or Link had fully realized that this isn't the Zelda he knows. The Zelda I knew wouldn't be that seductive or being cold towards others. That's what i come to realize she is a puppet made by Ganondorf.

Of all the versions of Ganondorf, the TotK version at least tried to mess with Link's psyche (even though it was obvious that the Zelda popping up then disappearing around Hyrule was a fake). His mistake was the same as the OoT Ganondorf in that he allowed Link too much time to run around and regain his strength/abilities (if Link isn't doing a speed-run).
Ganondorf is one DAMN Gerudo snake when deceiving Link to fell to his same old Puppet Zelda Trick.
He enjoys using Link's love and affection on his princess as way to beat him psychologically.

I agree. It would add in some of the much darker tone while mixing. Plus, it add Link more expression since he lost so much except for his princess.

What if in the next zelda game? It's not her that needs saving, but link instead?
Ok, here me out: with how link has been lead savior through BOTW and TOTK, there could be a moment where the people of Hyrule become too reliant on him; missing the fact that he had zelda and the sages to aid him.
So in that scenario, whether its getting kidnapped or going missing; they would need to have a backup plan for whenever link *can't* be the head line of defense. It's worth looking into at any rate.

Personnaly I've always realised that it wasn't Zelda. And the first time I saw the light drangon I was 99% sure it was zelda. I think that the game scenario is a little bit too obvious 😅.
