Just to clarify: It was 50/50 with Kid and Law. Law did internal Damage and Kid did the External Damage
Yep. And kidd was the only one there that could take 1000 leagues of misery. He did it long enough to buy law time.
Law was taking a lot of damage from big mom using her basic armament haki punches, but he was the only one who would be able to set up the stage for Kidd's damned punk knocking her out and into the lava.
Neither of them would've gotten very far if not for the other.

Kid's Devil Fruit is the Magnet-Magnet Fruit. A Paramica that releases electro magnetism from the user's arms. Allowing them to manipulate metal. But Kid's Awakening allows him to apply a magnetic force to anything or anyone. Plus, the "Assign" move he used on Big Mom is like applying the actions of magnetic poles in a standard magnet.
Law & Kid really going in OP all-out attacks to take out Big Mom. With Law creating a shockwave stab attack that can reach inner earth lava to Kid coming in at the end of the episode in the form of HE MADE A RAILGUN!!!!!!!!

A cool thing about this episode is that it was directed by an american with a lot of american (disney employees mainly) animators.
The director went on a podcast to talk about it, including how it dealt with the pacing issues he knew he'd have, he said he didn't care if the momo scenes were dragged out as long as the main fight of the episode was paced perfectly as a result.
STILL after so many episodes this is on of my fave ones EVER
