All three mini boats gathered in Alameda CA for the grand unveiling. Dylan, my Dad, and I all built our own boats. This was the first time all three of them were together and completed.
The unveiling party was a blast. We had just over 40 friends and family show up and test-ride the boats. My Dad and I also explored a few cool areas after the party.
Thanks to everyone who made it out, and sorry to those that missed it.

Thanks dude. You'll have to reach out if you ever find yourself in the SF Bay Area. Even if you aren't able to bring your own mini boat. It's too bad teleportation isn't a thing yet, otherwise you, me, Andrew, and Paul would be cruising together right now.

I have, and I actually think that would be a fairly lucrative business.
It would require becoming a boat manufacturer (getting a boat manufacturing license) and testing the boat according to US Coast Guard rules. I looked into it and I think I can do all that and pass the tests, but renting boats isn't really an interest of mine.
I'd rather move on to my next project or find some rich person to sponsor a mini submarine build.

lol. "footy" is lazy for "footage".
do you think i would be able to get away with being one inch too tall?
I designed it to allow a 6'2" tall person to completely straighten their legs while inside. So yeah, being an inch or two taller probably isn't a big deal. It may be slightly trickier to get in, and you may not be able to bend your knees as much while riding. For reference, my Dad who is the star of the Stability Testing video is ~6'2" tall and ~175lbs.
