This game just showed how great bronny is and the level of competition they play against. When you don’t make him the primary ball handler he’ll score a whole lot more but the turnovers will increase by the new primary ball handler, and when you sub him out the team tends to blow the lead.
Bro nah you didnt saw how much shot he misses, french people were so disappointed, this game just show how much highlights and real life are so much different
Well at 6'3, he'll have to be a 1. He can't play anything else in the league, so he needs to showcase his skills as a 1 on big stages as much as he can.
@@ykysignk6747 these are highschool kids at the end of the day. If they wanted to see efficiency they should travel to see a nba game or something
@@goodvibes7913 Very true, at this level fundamentals are more important. And as of rn he’s getting his shot down and his athleticism is coming into its own. Time and time again we see these top 5 prospects of high school go onto college or the nba and don’t pan out. They don’t pan out because they miss the fundamentals.
@@J4htheartist plus they think scoring is everything. They were the man in highschool but once they get to college that won’t be the case and now they don’t have anything to fall back on because they only cared about scoring
The French kid Bilal Coulibaly is one to watch. Long, bouncy, defends, open court play. French squad had a several nice athletes out there actually, I think the Cali club team gets props for looking good against a national team even though game got away at the end as they put in their younger players.
its not a national team, they don't play with each other. it's some of France best prospects though.
@@magdakee It is a national team. It's a group of players selected from around France to represent them, unlike the Cali club team they faced. Didn't say this was their FIBA team but it is a national team.
@@ighsight the french coach said "ESPN is here, who really want to go in the NBA ?!" at the half time. Fact
@@ighsight My point is they had never played or trained together, except two if them :)
@@magdakee But my point was not about how many games they played together, it was about talent concentration. Selecting a team from a whole country like France did should give you more talent than selecting players from one state/province like Cali Club did. So Cali Club starters represented well since they were playing against a bigger talent pool.
Bronny is gonna be like that, nothing but improvement we’re seeing from him. It’s his time to take over.💪🏾
Watch him end up being one of the best in his class rankings don’t matter long term
Definitely don’t it’s about the work you put In on & off the court & you can see it’s paying off for bronny
Facts. Dude is such a complete player
Well yea that’s usually how it works lol. Them nba sons that start out high ranked get big headed early. DJ Wagner is one of the few who I think will be different due to his Dad, Uncle, and grandfather’s careers. But him & Bronny both nice af but humble at the same time. Don’t be surprised if they end up on the same team in college or the league and really start shitting on folks bc they fit together perfectly.
@@deez9805 They definitely won't be on the same team in college. Bronny is gonna go one year and to the draft. Bryce is 3 years behind Bronny. I agree with your initial statement though.

Bilal Coulibaly (number 6 of French team) will be an amazing player
These crowds have been great
Awesome that they got Victor Wembanyama (probably next 1st pick at the 2023 Draft). I was really surprised by his English knowing he mostly played in France
There’s a lot of French people that can speak English. Like A Lot!
@@thulakhumalo3723 haha I know dude, I'm french. But I was not talking about just speaking English but more like having a good accent, using a certain variety of words. For a kid that is so focused on basketball and probably less on classes, I think it's surprising (in a good way). Especially when you compare him to the last french drafted in the NBA (except the ones with an American parent ofc)
@@OhDuur I was looking for that comment
@@OhDuur toi aussi tu parles bien anglais
As commenters have said it is common for French folks to know English. But I will add that anyone advising this kid has known for a while he's headed to the US and the NBA so having him learn English was going to be the smart move.
This coach better stop playing with James Jr, every time my boy on bench they don't scor
yup, they suck without bronny.
He needs another guard that can control the game when Bronny out

The French team looks like a futuristic NBA team with small players at all
Number 6 for the French team is going to be a really good NBA player if his head is right and his mental and passion to get better is strong. I would have him in for a workout very fast!

The French kids were more athletic while the American kids were more skilled. The future of the NBA/Gleague is in good hands.
imma give athletic to american kids, watch carefully bud !
"French"
@@ketchup7576 i disagree. French kids were way more athletic, u saw it clearly on defense and fast breaks. As soon as the bench players came in for American kids the skills dropped and the athletic french kids took over. American kids just had more skill, getting to the basket, defending the passing lanes with the right hands, but they were smaller than the french kids.
The French kids where just longer & taller that’s all.
@@BobbyMarley718 The French players were just bigger. The shorter Americans actually had more athleticism, which made up for their lack of height.

physically he reminds me a little more of Ray Allen at UCONN
My thoughts exactly. Even the arm band on his right elbow and the facial expressions.👍👍👍👍
@@brianwestbrook2041, 💯
Sierra needs somebody to run the team/takeover when bronny is on the bench as soon as he sat down the lead was gone almost every time and the bigs need to be more aggressive on the boards too many second chance points allowed them to get momentum and take the lead but they’ll be fine a lot of potential and young guys who have to step into new roles should be a fun team to watch. Also the coach took the starters out beginning of the 4th gave the JV guys some experience and Pt

Bronny's play and movement reminds me of James Worthy. Explosive, always moving, head on a swivel. Give him 4-5 years. I think the narrative about him will be dramatically different.
I agree people don’t see the skill he has that a lot of NBA players don’t have. He will develop in other areas such as scoring etc. He needs to have the mamba mentality and not his dads!
@@bpowe52 yk bron a pretty accomplished player right 😂 think he got the right mentality
@@bpowe52 Hid dad's mentality will do him just fine.
By 21-22 yeah he’ll absolutely be a problem. His frame will have filled out more and he’ll start getting his man physique and maybe even be an inch taller. At 6’4 or 6’5 forget it this kid will be really good he’s got the tools
@@bpowe52 That's not even necessary. LeBron has obviously already a great impact on his kids.
Now they get to grow up and develop their own mentality.
This was basically a JV team vs a college team. Sierra Canyon definitely going to suck this year if they don’t get more upperclassmen. I don’t want Bronny dropping 25 a game taking Ls bc he gotta play Mfs like Centennial, Haha, Rancho, etc.

They weren’t even playing their starters they weren’t trying to win

Some of these French kids are extremely fast. 0_o.
I see a whole lot of individual play. No ball movement or making sacrifices, looking to make the right play. Good win for those French boys.
No knock to the California team. I don’t know how long they’ve played with each other, or what their mission is. Based off of these highlight (admittedly, almost nothing to go off of…) it looks like these boys are using these games to acclimate their games to playing different levels of competition. Working on their games. Hence, chasing highlights.
Bronny. Damn boy, getting the game together huh?! Nice little layup package, must be working with Uncle Drew. I see a lot of Uncle Wade in him too. At his height and play style he should formulate his game around those two players and make it his own.
