We visited Saguenay, Quebec in October 2023. It’s a beautiful place, but whatever you do while you are there, stay away from their hop-on hop-off tour buses. It would be an expensive school bus ride with long distances in between each stop and self-guided tour during your 1,5 hours ride. It’s very challenging to see anything through the school bus windows, plus the high seats would be blocking your view. There is no usual for hop-on hop-off buses pre-recorded guide, so you have no clue to what you are passing by. The few stops that the buses make, offer some attractions for additional price. There would be a couple of employees stepping in for a couple of minutes to explain you what to do during this ride, but they are not of much help. Overall it’s a poorly organised and executed, but expensive service.

Yes, Saguenay is absolutely a beautiful place to visit. Oops! Sorry to hear that. I Didn’t know about the poor services offered by hop-on-hop-off buses. Good to know, thank you for the tip. Cheers!
