    Welcome to Istanbul, Turkiye.
    In this video, I will show you step by step on ways to get to the city center ( Taksim Square ) from Instanbul International Airport.
    Istanbul Airport (IST) is the larger of two international airports serving Istanbul, Turkey. It is located in the Arnavutköy district on the European side of the city.

    Important update: The U1/M11 metro from the Airport has been extended to Gayrettepe, which enables passengers to directly transfer to the M2 line to Taksim and beyond, as well as the Metrobus. No need to exit in Kagithane anymore, unless you want to reach destinations along the M7 line.

    Thank you very much for this wonderful video. We wish you and the Turkish people success and prosperity. My respect to the Turkish people and my respect to the Turkish government. We hope to respect the tourists. We visit Turkey several times, and the last time in the year 2020 for five months. I reside in Turkey. We have faced difficulties from some shops and people, and I have a visa. It is valid for three months. The person who works in the Ministry of Interior, Passports Department, told me that before this visa expires, you can leave Turkey and go to Bulgaria and then come back. I did as he told me, and this was a mistake. , The visa must be obtained via the Internet again, like the visa that I obtained for the first time, and it was a mistake by this person who works in the passport department. After I left Turkey after five months, they told me at the airport that you have to pay a fine. The problem is that they did not accept credit cards or bank cards. They only wanted paper money, and it was This thing is very wrong and wrong. We have to look at European countries and look at Canada, America, and many developed countries. Tourists must be dealt with according to the international system.

    @abbasalichinikamwalla7958 Před 3 měsíci +1

    Turkey like many countries eg Japan etc should have one common transportation card/kart , which could be used in all the cities of Turkiye because a card of one city cannot be used in another city and a tourist loses leftover money from the previous city card he/she has visited. I hope concerned authorities look into the matter. This could save a lot of time, money of the tourist and the hassles for obtaining a card of a new city...🌹☺️

    GUYS HELP me please. I have a transit of 5.5 hours and I was planning on meeting someone in Turkey there during my transit. So during that transit I’m planning to go outside of the airport. Is this possible? (I’m not talking about a visa, I have a Turkish ID alr, but rules, regulation and time-wise? And how much time do you think I need, to go to my transfer second flight all the way outside from the airport. How many hours is enough do you think?

    • @foodloverasian143
      @foodloverasian143  Před 6 měsíci

      I don’t think you have enough time. Unless you just need to meet and greet. Traffic sux and taxi is the only easiest way and fastest if you need to. Otherwise you won’t have enough time

    • @etaps73
      @etaps73 Před 5 měsíci

      I Agree. 5 hours is cutting it too close! Traffic using a taxi. The public transport will be around 1H 45 min (one way) depending on the time of day.
      Maybe your friend can meet you at IST airport instead?

      As a local i do not recommend taxi for you, they will probably try to scam you. You can travel safely even in the middle of the night if you are in touristic and busy places so dont worry. i recommend you to take the metro line, they extended the line to Gayrettepe which you can take the m2 taksim line without taking any other lines but the problem is currently metro line is not running between 00:00-06:00. Things can change until may. If it doesnt the best choice seems like taking the shuttles called havaist.
