One day I was at Grand Rapids Community College and I was talking to the counselor there she was a academic disability counselor and as I was talking to her she was asking me questions and I've always been one to ponder in my mind my purpose why I was here why I've gone through what I've gone through and we were talking about me being molested and and as we were talking the Holy Spirit showed me a chess board and all of the pieces were standing upright as if to be in position for a tournament or just someone to play as I shared my heart with her she says to me the only thing that happened was your foundation was shaken and as she said that the Lord showed me the chess board being nudged the pieces of the chessboard falling to the side. Then he showed me a hand reaching out picking them up and repositioning them back to their proper place I saw this in the spirit wide awake. I thought about that when you begin to preach this message my Foundation has been shaken but again I hear the Lord reiterating to me that he's repositioning me he's realigning me and he's putting all the pieces back in their proper places praise God I was in my mid 20's maybe early 30's. This is how God has spoken to me since I was about 5 years old visions dreams I can hear in my spirit the person of the Holy Spirit speaking to me. I used to be afraid to say that because I never hear people talk about it growing up I never heard anybody talk about that I often thought I was crazy or something was wrong with me you know because it would always be so much bigger and grander than anything I've ever heard in my life so I didn't dare mention it to anyone and I still find myself pondering and asked in the question why do you talk to me this way. Such a peaceful still Small Voice never allowed it's never been scary but in my spirit I can I can sense the urgency of what he's saying to me. I just made my mind up you know it don't matter if anybody believes me or not I know and God says one day it will be made evident then I'm not crazy that he has spoken to me and he does talk to me I just need to believe and stand on it and so I do most of the time I don't say anything unless the Holy Spirit tells me to and it's just been the last past couple of years that I started to speak out when he tells me to say something and it's so refreshing afterwards I can't describe the the the feeling in my stomach inside of me it's like a release half the time I can't even describe what's taking place when he's speaking to me because it comes so fast. He reassures me that it's him and not me it sounds like me but it's really not me I pray to God it was okay to share that so many things are going through my mind right now sometimes I cry because I don't understand but in my spirit I know that I don't need to understand I just need to obey the leading of the person of the Holy Spirit..

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I agree, we do grow in adversity. Also, God don't want us to think of ourselves more highly than we ought, so in adversity we grow, yes we do. However, if we are honest with ourselves, we see where we need to grow more. When I go through adversity, I grow, yes. I also see in what area of my life I am weaker in. This happens because I see God in a deeper way. Indeed and infact, God creates a situation for revelation. That revelation blesses me to see God in à way that deepens my faith in Him and it deepens my love for my Savior. However, it shows me a more accurate level of my faith. So I know I am growing in faith with God. The more Grace, I see in God for me, my faith also deepens. Thank you Bishop Noel Jones.
