If you are so alarmed about this popcorn going into the vacuum just pick it up and throw it in the trash. Or crush it up and vacuum it. Most cars people wouldn't even be eating in it. As long as it picks up the dirt I believe the vacuum did its job! This is a car vac. Not a vaccum for the home. You are expecting too much.
I also purchased the Armor All 12V Car Vacuum, along with the Ion Vac Pro Max. The over all quality of the Ion Pro Max was far superior to the Armor All in many ways, and I will be returning the Armor All back to Walmart. I am somewhat surprised that in spite of the issues with the Armor All Vac, that you still gave it decent scores of 6 and up instead of 2's and 3's, etc.
I keep this in my car for small jobs like if I spilled something or eating a flaky bread or a spilled something like sugar. Tiny debris that you can't pick up by hand.

The white plastic piece does come out it's designed so water can't enter the filter or the vacuum itself and you can so suk up popcorn

This vacuum sucks. It has not suction at all. Waste of money. Do not buy!!!!
